As previously mentioned, I've managed to get my hands on one of the last V6 2014 models, I'm in Germany and have got a TUV import conversion/test booked up for the arrival. On returning to the UK either in 6mth or hopefully longer I found out the hard way a few yrs back that even though my car (RAM) was being imported from within the EU i still need the test.

My RAM failed on indicators ie no side ones and the idiot in the Dodge garage changed my rear fog and reverse light and bodged it so that my fog would go off when the main beam was switched on.

So apart from the indicators, does anyone know of any differencies between the EU/Ger/TuV and the VOSA test?

Also my mustang is black what are the best indicators i can get?

In essence, you have to have white front sidelights, side repeaters, orange rear indicators and a rear fog light with a suitable interior switch and warning light within your sightline switch

Front clear units allow you to have white sidelights and use orange bulbs for the indicators.
Rears usually have an orange bulb fitted in the reversers and then fit an under-bumper reversing light.

Can you retain the sequential rear indicators?

Its a real shame about the sequential indicators as they look great, however i knew it would happen, I might give the coversion garage a shout to see what they think. Thanks for the responses, im just trying to make it just one conversion rather than 2.

So what arrangement provides the solution for rear indicators? Just curious...

Ask on the MOCGB forum,

This shows a video of switchable lights which have both UK legal and US sequential rear lights http://www.mocgb.net/forums/showthread.php?64085-S...

also a video of a 2013 set up http://www.mocgb.net/forums/showthread.php?60105-V...

What I really need then is obviously resign myself to the fact that sequential indicators are out of the question.

What i do need for the UK but not for Germany is side repeaters as my RAM failed because the VOSA tester stood at the back on one corner and said he needed to be able to see an indication from a front or side indicator. My front indicator didn't quite make it visable so I failed and needed to get one drilled in, I've been looking at these on ebay....

And this is my new one, I think this should work....
