So who has ordered the new S550 Mustang?
Discussion
Ford are slowly ramping up the Mustang Fever, by the time the CL cars arrive it will be a really in demand car - just as we get ours! I don't get excited by getting cars anymore, I used to get very much so but I think as you get older whilst you appreciate them and really want stuff it's tempered a little however I am getting a little stiffy for this.

That would be this one. Interior fit and finish superb. It's going off for SVA then will be around for the Think group dealers to show off.
Bill Shepherd had one out and about (at the gym) last weekend; demonstrating that it fits in a parking space
Are the UK mirrors so bad? How much less, if at all, do they stick out than the US ones. I can think of better things to mod first. OEM units will cost a fortune.
I don't think the difference is in the width so much as the height, but from the looks of the pic, a swap could be doable. Bill Shepherd had one out and about (at the gym) last weekend; demonstrating that it fits in a parking space

Putting my sensible head on and having just been on a speed awareness course for my first and only speeding ticket in my 35 years of driving like an idiot and fast motorcycle ownership, why does the Mustang need more than it's 435 bhp for driving on the road.
I only ask as people will spend amazing amounts of money to add horse power to their cars, whilst externally they look much the same.
I'll mod but it'll be a nicer sounding exhaust, stripes or different seats etc.
I'd understand it if it was adding power to my 170 bhp BMW, which is fine when driven solo but 5 passengers and luggage, it struggles.
Each to their own but personally not really interested in more power in an already powerful car.

It doesn't. But 0-XXXmph is a LOT more fun with +600BHP than a piffling 435BHP! I only ask as people will spend amazing amounts of money to add horse power to their cars, whilst externally they look much the same.

I don't think any of us are buying these cars with MPG in mind, but I'm certainly buying mine with SPG in mind...
that's SMILES PER GALLON in case you didn't work it out.

I've gone for an auto due to a few mobility issues, and although I can still drive a manual no problem, looking to the future it is only going to get more & more difficult, hence for the first time ever choosing an auto.....
I have to admit, I almost had a change of heart at the last minute, and nearly changed my order to manual, but seeing that video above, has convinced me that the auto should still be a lot of fun...

Anyone know what the rear legroom will be like compared to something like a 911?
Its our family car (convertible) we have twin 6 year olds by the time it arrives, I am hoping they fitcroyde said:
I'm 5'11" and I can sit behind myself in the Mustang but my head is crammed up against the rear glass.
I reckon anyone up to 5'6" would be ok.
Cool, that's what I wanted to hear! Was thinking 911 was going to be the next chariot but love these.I reckon anyone up to 5'6" would be ok.
Won't be ordering probably until after launch wonder what the lead time will be then,
