So who has ordered the new S550 Mustang?

My dealer still knows nothing. I ordered last year and had a call from Ford in Feb asking me to confirm spec, car would be built in August and delivered October. Nothing since!
I now have the money in place to buy and the lack of updates is annoying. I did briefly look around to see if there was anything else around that price but nothing even comes close in terms of 'must have car' so I'm sticking with the Ford for a while longer. Would be nice to hear something, especially as I seem to have ordered before most on here and don't have a build number or anything.

RHD production starts today at Michigan. First vehicles, UCL and demo units, are expected to leave Flat Rock (Michigan) mid-September and are expected to take 10-12 weeks to reach FordStores.
Orders placed prior to waiting list process i.e. the very first orders after UCL and demo units are forecast to start production in September. Orders from Jan 20th to April 14th are forecast for Q4 production and orders from April 14th to May 22nd (pre price increase) are forecast for January 2016 production.

Got an update from my dealer this morning:-
"Your car is now on Ford's Vista System but currently does not have a build date. As they are planning on building them this month this should change this month but I have no information on when yet.
I have screen printed the Vista screen for you:"
The screen print shows very little, but at least it demonstrates the order is real.

V8 Fastback in Magnetic with climate seats.
Ordered at the end of June. Hoping to be behind the wheel by next summer but daren't call my dealer for fear of bad news on that front!
Been reading this sub forum with interest although it's giving me too many ideas for mods! Anyway, looking forward to spotting some of you early orderers on the road soon

Don't worry about getting bad news; you won't get any news at all. Just make sure you know what you want, my dealer didn't tell me when my order was locked down (it wasn't a problem, but could have been). All part of the fun.JB here, joining the S550 club too!

I feel for the guys who's cars may be built this week. Exciting, but first RHD cars....and first cars built after the summer break at Flat Rock.
Didn't they start the production of the RHDs yesterday. There must be a picture of the interior.....somewhere?
I still have a faint hope that we will be getting the American model with the steering on the correct side
thanks to our 'special' relationship.
ie vents, red rear lights, no feux gas cap, completely reversed centre console etc etc.......plus a last minute addition of free Recaros to all us lot that have waited so long.

For anyone interested the car that'll be at Benfields in Leeds on the 15th is supposedly a LHD car and the doors will be locked because the interior spec doesn't match what the UK car will be.
I was told it'll be there from 9 till closing.
Kind of disappointed as I know it looks great already and actually wanted to sit in one to get a feel of it, the seating position and interior etc. etc. Still it's better than nothing.

My build date is also Sept 14th. I know they can knock out quite a few cars in a day at Flat Rock but do you think this is a genuine piece of information or just a date dealers have been told to pass on to keep everyone happy?! No Vin numbers. Said he was puzzled why people keep asking for them.
Said my car is due to be produced Sept 14th and should expect it 12 weeks later.

Apparently VIN numbers become available a couple of weeks before your build date, so should be known around the end of the month. You can then view your 'window sticker' via the electrical-interweb using a computer thingy ..... whatever will they think of next?! No Vin numbers.
