Got my Build Date !!!!!!
12th August
Very jealous!

I called Ford directly earlier, the agent confirmed cars are being built now, shipping will start in September with delivery hopefully in December. BUT...she couldn't track any specific orders so could say if mine was included in this batch. Told me to talk to dealer. Dealer knows nothing!

I'm soooo tempted to go out and buy a T5 instead but I'm going to hang in there and just watch more videos of the 'tang.

UK owners manual now on-line. Apparently we get "tires", "high beams", a "windshield" and things are various different "colors" ..... a real slice of Americana! biggrin

Seen and sat on Saddle. Seems tougher than the black and it looked good. In the US you can spec it with CO but not here in the UK.

Just seems weird that if it's possible in the US, why not here. After all they are made in the same factory?

It's down to what would've been seen as an acceptable combination in the country of destination.

Ford UK would have had many conversations with Ford US over colour and trim combinations and would've had to have decided on what they think will sell.

Want the same amount of combinations they get in the US? Add several thousand pounds to the price. That's the way it's always been with US manufacturers selling a limited number of cars in the UK.

Just picked up from here https://www.drivebenfield.com/blog/2015/07/25/new-...

That there will be a 2015 Mustang at Benfields in Sunderland on Newcastle Road tomorrow (Tues 11th August). Think the one in Leeds on the Sat (15/08/2015) is already well known.

Apologies if this has been discussed earlier in the thread, 65 pages is a lot to check through! I've read on US car sites that there is an updated 2016 MY Mustang, does this only apply to US cars? Am I right in saying that if I place in order now delivery will be well into next year so even if this was the case it wouldn't be an issue.

I believe they were quoting a year for delivery if order placed now. So yes - you will be well into 2016 if not 2017MY!

So in that case if you order one now, you won't need to give final specification until nearer the build date as I assume the spec on the configurator is for 2015MY cars.

A few teasing RHD pics (DIB Ecoboost) are on Kent Mustang Facebook page today.

Link to post: https://www.facebook.com/kentmustang/posts/8372327...

"After the Mustang RHD went into production last week, it has now been spotted in the metal at the Ford ‪#‎GoFurtherAfrica‬ event today. Our first deliveries are expected around November for the first existing orders and showroom unit, we currently expect any new orders to be built in March 2016 after existing order bank."
