Update from my dealer this morning (I have a convertible if that makes any difference):-

"I’m afraid that we still haven’t had any updates on when your Mustang will be delivered. They have however released the below timetable that suggests that your car will not be built until October (your order was placed 28th January 2015). I’m afraid that I think this means we won’t see your car until January/February time.

I’m sorry I can’t give you any further information. I will be in touch as soon as I hear anything more substantial."
This also suggests that UCL cars will be built at the end of August, whereas they were started on the 3rd. I'm really hoping this is a worst-case... although i'm also seriously beginning to wonder if I'll see mine this side of Christmas frown

HI guys, I ordered mine mid Feb, Guildford Ford. I know a few of you have started to get conformations etc so i thought id ring them to see if they had heard anything i hadn't ? You'll like this, I spoke to a very nice lady ( yes lady ) who is now apparently dealing with all the mustang orders from that branch ? worrying ? She told me our cars would be built next March with a june delivery !!!!!!!!!! I st YOU NOT !!!!!! i nearly threw my phone through the bloody window , after several 'that cant be right conversations' etc, she assured me she knew more than i did ? So i just wanted to share this with you all, i know she's totally wrong ( at least i really hope so ? ) what are we all realistically thinking about delivery on an early FEB order ???? I await your thoughts

According to the earlier posted schedule from Ford that timeline would apply for an order placed AFTER June 15th, which shows as Q2 production, March '16 onwards.

I think she is stuck in 'new order' mode.

I ordered at the beginning of Feb, i haven't got a build date / VIN yet and last week my dealer said he expects mine to be built in Sept some time, and to date i've not been told to expect anything other than Q4 delivery so far... Everything i have is crossed.

^^^^ I got this email on 31st July...smile.... Order placed 2nd February

Good morning,

Thank you for your Mustang order. I am just letting you know we are waiting for a build date on your new car. As soon as we get one we will have an ETA for your new mustang.

Thank you for your patience, I’m sure the wait will be worth it!

I agree with Steiom's response. I went into (Guildford) Think Ford a few weeks ago, a couple of days before they had their launch event. Even though I've ordered mine from another dealer, and they hadn't done their 'unveil', and it was 5pm on a Saturday, they took the sheet off their US GT coupe and let me sit in and play around to my hearts content. It's a stunning car. They had taken the trouble to order as close to UK spec as they could get from the US. They are SVA'ing this car and as you are one of their customers, you'll get a test drive. The guy I spoke to wasn't the official Mustang guy for that dealer but he knew his stuff and the dates he gave me were entirely consistent with the table that has just come out on this forum (and is also on Kent Mustang's Facebook page). If you have the time, go in and see the car and I'm sure they'll put your mind at rest (call first to check it's not at another branch of Think).

Yes, it does. Our convertibles are being made from unobtainium.

Seriously; has anyone seen any sign of a Euro spec convertible arriving, never mind a UK one in production?

My recollection is that on 20/01/2015 Ford made the 2015 Mustang available for dealers to join a paper waiting list. Ordering was opened on 01/05/2015 which was the first date that you could place an actual order and get a confirmed price from the dealer. I made all those dates and according to the dealers Vista screenshot my order has a build date of 14/09/2015. What date did you join the waiting list and what date did you actually place your order?

Where did you get that information from?

On another note, a bit old but a bit of fun, a Mustang round Silverstone where you can change the view of the car.

Suggest full screen and volume up

You could join the Owners Club, doesn't cost much.

This is at Evans Halshaw Preston on Saturday afternoon, same colour as I've ordered, can't wait to see one in the flesh for the first time.

Had a good look at one at a pub meet the other week and all those who have ordered one I don't think you will be disappointed. First one I have seen outside of a showroom and certainly stood out from the other cars. Bit quiet though so maybe a few exhaust mods might be called for.
