So I have my VIN and a supposed build date of the 14th Sept but apart from very basic info on Etis no window sticker is coming up on the various different recommended sites.

Usual?
Have another check on your window sticker, mine is now active and I have the same build date (14th) as you. The 'blend' number seems to indicate that mine will actually be built on the 17th (Thursday), so the sticker is available 4 or 5 working days in advance. I guess if the 14th is a 'week beginning' date you should have a sticker by tomorrow at the latest (or Monday I suppose if nothing gets created on weekends).

Getting closer! smile
What are you using to check it? Etis recognises my VIN but there is very basic info. Just GT, Fastback, 6spd man and 5.0 V8. At least that's all correct.

I paid my deposit on 22/01/2015 and the latest Vista screenshot from my dealer indicates Est. Prod Date: 14-SEP-2015, ETA to Dealer WE: 28-NOV-2015.

My window sticker became active on 10/09/2015 and indicates 120150915 Blend 0102. Does this indicate an actual build of 17-Sep-2015? What do the other numbers in the blend mean? What do the other numbers on the window sticker mean?

When you get a VIN add it to the end of this web address, then paste it into your browser ....

The VIN you get from your dealer may be missing a prefix (which is '1FA6P8') that you will also need to add.

Cheers .....
Don't you read the posts! wink

(.... and don't copy the apostrophes obviously! ..... oh, and paste it into the address bar not your search engine)

Don't hold me to it, I'm no expert, but I think that means your build date is the 15th (Tuesday) - '150915' although in this code the day is the last '15' and the first '15' is 2015.

Apparently ETIS will update around 24hrs after your car leaves the line, however it could still then go to the upfitters so it might not actually be finished even though it shows on ETIS as such.

Saw the Mustang GT at Goodwood Revival today, Triple Yellow Convertable, didn't realise it would have a filler cap looking badge on the rear Deck Lid, Big Circle with GT in the middle,

120150915 Blend 0102, 15-Sep-2015 looks good!! (I was at work reading the forum over a clandestine remote desktop...)

So what does the 120 or 0102 mean? Is there a queue or pattern?

As I said, I'm most definitely no expert and it's mainly guesswork, but the date part is highly likely to be '20150915' (yyyy-mm-dd). No idea what anything else means, but as this is obviously going to be a unique number I would guess the prefix '1' would be some kind of date, MY or production line reference and the final '0102' yes, as you say, this is maybe a reference to the job number on that day. My final four digits are '2405' so I doubt it refers to an actual count of the vehicles being produced that day. As I say, mainly guesswork so could be WAY off the mark scratchchin - but the date part definitely seems to be right, which is the important thing! woohoo

Dear Quincy
I ordered on the same date as you. I emailed Mr. Andy Barratt - who is Head of Ford UK. He has promised to deal with every query personally on another forum. To give full credit to him he responded straight away to my email attached:

Dear A
I am currently in Germany, so I will ask one of my team to update you in my absence

Karen - can you assist please

Hi
Just to confirm so you know your order has been processed . I am sure you will be receiving Ford confirmation emails in the near future.
Kind regards

I wonder if you could let me know when can I expect to get the car.

Kind Regards
From speaking to Ford, it's 12 weeks from line-off (approx). So November build will likely be Teb/March 2016 (like me).

Hopefully this means we miss the worst of the winter and salty/crappy roads at least!
I had this reply from Karen - Still a little vague:

"Good Morning
Order L0509

Thank you for placing your Mustang Order I can see Evans Halshaw have contracted it and it has now been Committed. We have scheduled this unit for an October build which given the current lead time for delivery has an estimated arrival time in the UK of January 2016.

We do have the first batch of mustangs being released for the US Plant imminently and after this we will be able to establish a more accurate delivery lead time to report back to customers.
Kind Regards"

Have you guys have more accurate dates?

Has been in all the pics since the start. Personally I'm not a fan and have parts to change it. The Americans seem to like it. Probably like all of us, wanting what Ford says we can't have.

Nope, I have the same - just confirmation from Karen that I'm down for an October build, no VIN yet either.

Glad that finally I know that I exist though, and I'm a little more content that I can plan for a Jan / Feb delivery now.

Still checking this damned forum and Mustang6G every waking hour though.

Just asked my dealer for an update. He said the following:

VIN-CFXG5212329. The date that's on my system at the moment is 28th November. I would expect this to change because of where it is coming from but will keep you updated with your order :-)

I ordered mine around March i think (need to check the receipt slip for my deposit).

Eeerrrr, you ordered March this year? WOW, congrats for getting right to the top of the queue then! smile... Your window sticker is at the link below.... The date at at the top suggests yours was built on the 25th August, you lucky thing. Ties in with the 12 week delivery estimate....

Just checked my deposit debit card slip...it's dated 10th April. My dealer did say to me a while ago build date was 25th August so that backs up with what you have said. Thanks for that link by the way!

All looking ok at the mo...

So I have looked at the sheet on the link
It states hood vents with indicators, daytime running
Lights, sequential rear lights, I thought
We was having none of the above?

Unfortunately, the sheet also says "Standard equipment list may not apply in Export Markets".

The equipment list which is accurate is the ETIS one which can be accessed after build.

Interesting day yesterday.

It was supposed to be my build day according to the guy that I rang at my dealership a couple of weeks ago but then a member on another forum accessed the Ford Vehicle Monitoring System and took a screen grab which showed that my car is due to be built on the 28th Sept.

I then got a call from Pierre who works with Andy Barrett, head of Ford UK, who wanted to talk over some points that I mentioned in an email to Andy, he also confirmed that my car is due to be built on the 28th.

About an hour later my sales lady called me (Think it is the first time they have called me first) to tell me the exciting news that my car is due to be built on the 21st??

I told her about Pierre's call but she was adamant that their info was correct, although she said she could not promise delivery before Christmas.

Well it was just nice to have some contact biggrin
