Congrats! Great to see so many now being built & scheduled.

Mine is due for build sometime next week i believe, got my VIN now, no window sticker yet with ETIS just giving the basic details.

Kudos to Karen @ Ford for keeping me informed of late.

Mine isn't due to be built until Oct (nothing more precise than that) despite our orders being placed one day apart at the same dealer Oh well, as long as it turns up in Dec/Jan it will end up being the date Ford said originally I guess.

I cannot afford one till June next year but I'm really tempted to order one now.

When you place the order do they just take the deposit? Do you have to explain how you will pay for the rest? It's complicated as if I do well I will probably pay for it all in a lump sum but if I don't do as well ill need to finance some of it. I won't know for sure till June!

You might not even have to pay a deposit if you go to the right dealer but no, you won't have to explain/prove you can afford it.

Trust Ford trust you - no deposit but they obviously don't care if I default a January order as it's easily resellabke, may not be the case with an order today.

My Ford Store have made no mention of the options (roof colour, stripes etc). Fortunately I know about them anyway.

Just wondering how many other dealers have communicated in this respect?

Whist stripes can be dealer fitted (they're vinyl after all) not so the coloured roof for example. I wonder how many depositots even realise these options are available?!?!
