Whist stripes can be dealer fitted (they're vinyl after all) not so the coloured roof for example. I wonder how many depositots even realise these options are available?!?!

The options are nowhere to be seen on the UK website car configurator either, despite having been (theoretically) available since May when the order books officially opened. Makes you wonder if Ford just don't want UK customers specifying these additional options for some reason? Could be money related but my guess is that they want the cars marketed as XK8-style grand tourers rather then muscle/performance cars with sporty overtones .... customers actually being able to get what they want!? How ridiculous

If the Brembo's are the same US to UK then they are Black with Red writing.

update...just heard back from Karen, my car is being built in October. Slightly disappointed at the delays but I'm moving house hopefully in next two months and the mustang will have a huge garage but it needs work before car can go in. Should all work out nicely.

Just emailed Karen. Trust Ford say they have no information on my build or delivery.
Ordered 26th March, with email confirmation number of 809.
See what she can come up with.

Exactly my thought, which is annoying as they are a big dealership and I was the first to order. If it wasn't for the new house distracting me I'd be more annoyed, as it is I've looked around and there is nothing pricewise that matches the Mustang (unless I go for a much older car) so I'll hang in there.

Similar thing happened to me. Left deposit with dealer back in April, dealer 'forgot' to place order until I chased end of August! Result was that I was not going to receive car until next July Hopfully now sorted by Karen after emailing Andy, scheduled for November build and here Feb/March.

Some Polish guy is working on it. The connections are all different so you can't just use the US ones.

According to a Ford source over on Mustang6g forum "FordStores are currently quoting leadtimes of 8 months (2.3 EcoBoost) to 13 months (V8) for the delivery of an order placed today."

I know my V8 was built the same day as an ecoboost.

With it being the end of September, Karen will be snowed under.
