Having said that, still a distinct lack of updates on where mine is though. Ford/Karen stated weeks ago it was built, dealer claimed it definitely wasn't...

Mines due on the boat to southampton tomorrow, arriving Saturday. After that it's 5 days to dealer.
Yours came on Eurasian Higheay didnt it? Im hoping mine is on the same boat to Southampton as yours. My dealer has been quiet as a mouse these last few days absolutly no response to me asking for an update!fellatthefirst said:

Yeah mine was on eurasian. My dealer may as well not exist, utter waste of time. Knows nothing, has never once rang me with any information, not even after Karen informed them my car was on the boat from Baltimore (and they were specifically told to inform all customers at that point). I should find out tomorrow from Karen if my vin is on the auto star.

Just been making some adjustments....... Made a mistake, the chassis is actually plastic not aluminium as I first thought.
Must have got carried away at seeing my first mustang.... Doesn't take away that it's still a pretty nice model..
Wanna race

I did note that the ride height is very low. Are the dampers adjustable? (have boxed it up again to hide from the wife)

Mine's staying in the box for now (and better weather). Luckily we just had our drive done so I have a nice big playground for it.
You see what I mean about the ride height now. The chassis looks to have taken quite a beating. I think I'll fit a skid plate as I've got some carbon sheet lying about somewhere
Does it go well?

All that damage was caused on the slowest setting..... Tried it on max, and it's way to fast for my slow reactions,...Does it go well?
Need more room.... Great fun, already looking at upgrades, I suspect this could get expensive..
Had about 15 mins, and no sign of battery losing charge..

Ah yes - modern batteries in R/C cars. I got back into them a few years ago and bought a Vanessa's Lunchbox (have since bought a pair of Sand Scorchers and a Buggy Champ, both of which I ached to have as a kid but never did). My batteries for them 4600mAh last over an hour or full on running!!Need more room.... Great fun, already looking at upgrades, I suspect this could get expensive..

back in the day, you were lucky to get 5 minutes after a 3 hour charge!!!
