Eurasian Highway. Arrived in Zeebrugge 3rd Nov. If i get the car next Thursday then its pretty much exactly 1 month from arrival at Zeebrugge so any of you who have cars sat at Zeebrugge now you can probably count about a month till delivery....
Karen emailed me this morning. Mine is now at Southampton with delivery no later then first week in December. Landed in Zebrugge on 13th November so 13 days to clear that. Spoke to dealer he still says their system is giving Jan 26th delivery !!! Getting closer now

Hi went to view the Mustang in Lisburn first impressions very good car looks amazing . We didn't get to hear it as dealer said they had not got the keys wonder how they got it in the show room ! Colour looks good too had a sit it in and it feels great lots of room really happy with interior and have to say I really like the saddle and black together . Dealership is not registering cars until January so that's why we cant get test drives . He said come back in January and they will have a V8 and Eco to test drive. Here are some pictures

Email k.batt@ford.com
Give her your details, including order Ref number & dealer or anything else you may have already & she's brilliant.... Normally gets back to you within a day or so, though occasionally I've had to chase her up.
Best of luck

Bit of an issue with the paint job, then it looks like someone took some sandpaper to it. Hasn't happened in during transport either, it's a flaw from the factory.

I've just been told that mine has now been built!

So, 12 more weeks to wait I assume!

Just been down my dealer to drool over their showroom GT model.

It appears they do have a cover on at some point during transit as they have a GT, just dropped off, that has a cover stuffed in the boot.

Just visited my local dealer as they have a black vert in the showroom and a Gt (not prepped in the back), both looked stunning, can't get over how big the bonnet is. Quite a bit of plastic on the inside, the lower door material feels especially cheap but otherwise pretty good. The rear quarter on the GT looks bloody stunning, those hips are to die for.

Just need to wait a little longer for mine to arrive.

Karen 'had' been very helpful in terms of getting my biuld re-scheduled (dealer cockup meant that the order wasn't placed for 4 months after I'd placed it!).

Car was supposed to have been built 11/11 - but now it appears that it won't be until next Jan.

I seem to be getting radio silence from her now when trying to get some clarifty frown

All sounds a bit familiar. Got her email address from a Mustang6g forumite and received a couple of relatively upbeat email updates...then nothing. Since found that I have a "tentative" early January build. Not from Karen though; we don't speak anymore wink

C'mon Ford, I can handle bad news but I hate long silences!!

Just remember Karen is not meant to be a customer facing member of staff and she works from home when she's supposed to be off. She is also looking after all the RS customers, as well as being the line manager for a team in Worley.

In short don't give her too much grief/loads of emails.

Ref PG1971's post and Possibly helpful - I've worked for Ford for a reasonably long time and I've never seen a corporate Ford email with a "." in, so if you're not getting a response to an email with a "." in this may be why.

Possible it is a special account created for Mustang/RS traffic but I'd have thought unlikely.

Good luck getting your cars guys. They look great. Can't believe they haven't been wrapped for the train though, that's shocking.

This^.

I would imagine that's why some emails get answered and some don't.

There was some muppet thought it would be ok to email the MD of Ford UK to ask about the position of the cupholders as that was a stumbling block to buying one! rolleyes

I emailed my mate Andy once a few months ago since I had heard zero from my dealer, and then again a few weeks ago when my dealer couldn't tell me if it made it onto the Delhi. Keep pestering them over and over & I would imagine you slide down the list of people that get replied to....
