I have my dealers GT at the minute, absolutely love the car & the sound is intoxicating BUT just under half tank fuel left and car says 87 mile to empty! It's a thirsty beast.
Pleased i went for the EB to be honest. Plus the GT is bloody scary in the wet smile

Have you tried it on rain / snow setting to see the difference? Would be interested in your thoughts

Yeah I did switch it to rain/snow yesterday afternoon but after losing the back end in normal I was hesitant to push it again!

Ford let me know they had a black GT cab at their Swansea branch so I immediately popped down to see it.

The bonnet is huuuuuuge, though the car doesn't look that big from the side. Stunning car, awesome looking engine (didn't switch it on, want to wait!). Seats were really comfortable though it did feel cramped (I'm 6foot4) - I'm hoping the roof is higher in the coupe.

The interior, well it is a huge improvement on the previous model but still not that premium. Its nice, but my volvo feels like higher build quality and the steering wheel could be thicker.

The black is stunning - I'm very glad I went for it. It does show up every single finger print and mark so I'll be cleaning it a lot. The Ford dealer did say they've had warnings from Ford that the engine has to be warmed up properly before driving enthusiastically or it can cause damage. I think that is just common sense though.

Overall, very happy - I think it's going to be an amazing car.

Still no news on mine though frown

That's summer tyres for you. The BF Goodrich on the S197s were just the same.

What are they - Pirellis?

They are Pirelli P Zeros. I use Falkens on my BMW, ok less than half the power but a lot lighter, and the grip is fantastic in the wet and cold. Not pricey either.

Might see if they do a fitment for the Mustang.

Anyone ordered a space saver spare.
I asked the dealer if it was an option he didn't know said he thought that it would have to be
UK supplied.

Just a heads up. My dealers system still showing my vehicle in US docks. BUT I'm told I should have it by weekend at latest according to Karen. I rang to explain this and was told that all new vehicles for my area go to a pound for PDI. They rang the pound to be told they have quite a few just sitting there waiting individual dealers to "request" delivery.
I find this very annoying considering the wait we have endured. They are going to do a physical check to see if mine is one of them and get back to me tomorrow.
May be worth a call to see if your dealers work on the same ideas.
Dates, Zeebrugge 13th November. Southampton 26th November. Then the trail goes cold................

Sounds about right, mine landed in Southampton 21/11, was at my dealers 25/11. Then into bodyshop for repairs on 26/11 frown finally getting it tomorrow afternoon.
Make sure you thoroughly check it over for damage, still can't believe they arrive totally unprotected . The cover was in the boot & no plastic wrap anywhere

No requirement for a spare in the UK. You can probably get one without too much trouble.
