Bought our V8 manual Fastback home tonight, done about 100 miles. Love it, looks amazing, sounds great and is a real head turner. So comfy cruising on the motorway.

Well done.. Are you the official first UK Pistonheads recipient of a rhd Mustang..?

I've just gone through 5,000 miles and 7 months of ownership.. smile

2 months after being built mine appears to have found it's way on to a ship.

CSCC Asia which has just left it's last US port of call, Charleston.

It was booked on the Eurasian Highway at the beginning of Nov but didn't get on for some reason.

Like others, I nipped over the border today to Swindon to see three GT's, Ruby red, grey & race red. Customers cars but got to sit in the ruby one, front & back seats.
I'd be delighted if I found my dealer was letting others climb all over my car.

That bonnet looks pissed to me... passenger side gap def bigger.

Hmm.. not sure yellow works very well with those silver wheels - looks a bit of a mess.

My mates collecting a well kept secret car (just arrived, cancelled order) from Busseys in Norwich Saturday...£37k! He`s super exited...always wanted a GTR but running costs have held him back. It was a tough decision for him, but a short test drive and he was hooked. Can`t wait to have a go in it myself at the weekend. Its red with black wheels...looks good. They also have a black customer car and a silver demo (ugh colour).

Saw an orange one driving through town the other day, first uk mustang I've seen in the road, and sorry, but IMHO the colour wasn't that great at all in the flesh.

Colour pigments are designed for their most popular market.

Competition Orange looks fantastic in the sunshine of California and Nevada, as does Grabber Blue.

Both look st in the sunshine over here.

Ah bugger just got this from Karen "Let me chase this for you tomorrow as it seems to be stuck in plant with little movement at the moment. As soon as I hear back I will let you know."
The dealer just says its gone "off radar" - i am less than happy

I ordered mine a few months ago from SMC in Crayford
5.0 manual in green-grey with saddle leather
Got a call this morning from them to say their V8 demo had arrived and did I fancy a drive - I was on the m25 at the time so I popped in
Demo was 5.0 auto
Very comfortable and nicely put together - I would say vw standard in the important areas - less in some areas.
The engine really suits the auto box - has paddles as well.
Does not have the bottom end grunt if a camaro - but it likes to rev that is for sure .
The idle is a bit calm for my liking - particularly in comparison to my dodge ram - but under load it sounds great - a magnaflow cat-back will be neccessary to resolve this I feel
Performance-wise - not as fast as my griff 500 - but not far off and it handles and rides very well.
Overall a very good package - I am probably going to have the auto - it is such a nice gearbox and I have got used to paddles now from my disco.

But I am really really glad I ordered one
I wanted to keep the look of the standard car with the black wheels and no chrome highlights so I added all the goodies individually
Comes in at 37 - will be a bit more with the auto
but still amazing value for money

I picked it because it ended in Yankee Yankee, however I've since bought a private plate that ends in USA. Just need the dvla to pull their finger out with my v750
