I ordered mine a few months ago from SMC in Crayford
5.0 manual in green-grey with saddle leather
Got a call this morning from them to say their V8 demo had arrived and did I fancy a drive - I was on the m25 at the time so I popped in
Demo was 5.0 auto
Very comfortable and nicely put together - I would say vw standard in the important areas - less in some areas.
The engine really suits the auto box - has paddles as well.
Does not have the bottom end grunt if a camaro - but it likes to rev that is for sure .
The idle is a bit calm for my liking - particularly in comparison to my dodge ram - but under load it sounds great - a magnaflow cat-back will be neccessary to resolve this I feel
Performance-wise - not as fast as my griff 500 - but not far off and it handles and rides very well.
Overall a very good package - I am probably going to have the auto - it is such a nice gearbox and I have got used to paddles now from my disco.
But I am really really glad I ordered one
I wanted to keep the look of the standard car with the black wheels and no chrome highlights so I added all the goodies individually
Comes in at 37 - will be a bit more with the auto
but still amazing value for money
Nice one! Wish my dealer were as proactive. As it is, they are worse than useless.5.0 manual in green-grey with saddle leather

Just in case it's helpful information for anyone waiting for a delivery update, I had an email from my dealer a couple of days ago confirming my car was at Southampton and it was expected at the dealers within a week. Arrived at Zeebrugge on the Brasilia Highway on the 18th Nov I think, so they seem to be getting cars turned around in Belgium pretty quickly now (however, I hope this doesn't mean the undersealing is being done in a half-arsed fashion, there are some pretty ugly clips of Euro cars on YouTube). My VISTA estimate was w/e 18th Dec, so they're a few weeks ahead - which confirms other stories I've heard of cars turning up at dealers out of the blue, weeks ahead of schedule.

...and mine is currently showing US Docks , but is now confirmed (by Ford UK)on the CSCC Asia , supposed to be at Zeebrugge on 7th Dec .....
So, it does seem Vista is updating sporadically , if at all ....
have fun

Just picked mine up this morning!! Black Auto GT Fastback. It's absolutely amazing, looks stunning! The sound is something else, i cant help but smile when i hit the start button. It's just heaven.
Have only done about 20 miles in it as i've come back to work now but drives very well and is really comfortable. The seats are really nice. Interior is good, as mentioned by others on here some plasticky parts but generally very good. The SYNC 2 is great too, loads of options on there. It has a really nice big screen on it and the rear view camera looks great.
I'll post some pictures later today probably but so far i'm absolutely over the moon. Today was the first time i actually saw RHD mustang so there was a little bit of anticipation for me but as soon as i caught eye of it i couldn't stop smiling.
For all of you still waiting, it's so worth the wait. Don't cancel your order!! For what it's worth mine came over on Eurasian Highway and arrived in Zeebrugge on 3rd Nov. So from Zeebrugge to today its pretty pretty much bang on a month.

It's well known Vista does not provide accurate timing. Ford even advises dealers to use their Supply Chain Bulletin red tops to work out ETAs rather than Vista. So, it does seem Vista is updating sporadically , if at all ....

Do you have link to the youtube videos you mention in your comment. Edited by sumpoil on Wednesday 2nd December 10:51
Would be interested to take a look
Just had an email from my dealer confirming that mine is on the CSCC Asia currently just east of the Bahamas heading for Zeebrugge. At last.
Told me to track it on Vesselfinder but that has the ship heading into Charleston before heading out across the Atlantic, last updated 28th Nov.
Try Marinetraffic which seems much more up to date, last updated 18 hours ago.
So hopefully the middle of January will be the pick up from the dealer.

No, unfortunately can't find it ..... the one I'm specifically thinking of was (I think) a guy from the Czech Republic who had his up on a lift to take a look at the underside. Probably just as well I can't find the link, you'd have to force yourself to keep watching .... it's definitely 'R' rated stuff! Would be interested to take a look

Mental note to myself to tell the dealer not to install the front plate. Lovely car but that number plate plinth looks terrible. Might go for a stick on.
Its a personal thing I guess, we don't have an issue with it but black on black probably makes all the difference.Took a photo of the pony puddle light tonight as well
