So who has ordered the new S550 Mustang?

I wanted to have one of the first Mustangs if its 1 month or 3 months late its not one of the first Mustangs as such I have said to Andy and Trust its not acceptable that this business transaction has been so badly handled - I expect free servicing, free stripes or something if nothing is forthcoming I will cancel as the waiting list by March / April will be only a few months and I will get one for summer.
Problem is I suspect the waiting list isn't coming down yet, given there seems to be a delay for parts at the moment it's potentially going up if anything... Can't imagine the wait being down to a few months by April, in 2017 maybe!Fully agree about Ford handling this badly though - I was quite happy waiting a year as that was always stated as the likely timescale, but to suddenly add 3-4 months on to those who ordered first, while others later in the "queue" are getting cars delivered, along with the complete lack of communication is not doing Ford any favours...
Hi Newbie here, I have been following this thread with great interest also having ordered a Mustang "a long long time ago" from what now seems a faraway place! (or is it still in that place) I have just looked on Etis to see if there has been any changes and it is showing:Outstanding Field Service Actions 15U39 - MUSTANG RHD WIRING LOOM, perhaps that maybe a contributory cause to our wait?

Something to do with UKRoberts FIRE....Delay of deliveries, final check and new builds until the issue is resolved..?
It's all gone quiet on that thread about possible cause, investigation or Ford's actions.

If this is the case, they will have to recall all UK Mustangs to rectify!Delay of deliveries, final check and new builds until the issue is resolved..?

Yup, I picked it up on Christmas Eve, as planned.
150 mile drive home in terrible weather just proved that's it's a really practical car ...easy to drive. Very good first impressions .
For me, it definitely needs an aftermarket exhaust ....far too subdued for a V8.
Definitely worth the wait ...for all those doubting if it's worth it ...then hang on ....it is.
The car is stunning to look at and certainly looks like more car than it costs ......
Meanwhile, here are some 'phone' pictures from the dealer at pick up and a few outside my home .
I'll take some proper ones soon
Merry Christmas to all.

I will be AMAZED if your car gets built on 3rd Jan if you ordered in Sept!! Unless of course it's a cancelled order? Also, if it does get built on the 3rd you should have it by March/April.
Have you got a VIN yet as with only a week to go it should be available?
