I would be interested in this as I'm back in the market for one but I want all the bits but not the Custom Pack.

He replied on New Years day and got the ball rolling for me.

Thanks guys, I'm already in touch with Andy and Chris at Trust North London where I believe you got your Red GT from. Just thought I'd also mention it here in case someone knows of a car at their local dealer. I'm "fairly" flexible on colour/spec. Enjoy your Mystangs, I know a lot of people have been waiting over a year.

Here's my manual GT in Magnetic with Ford factory stripes, black wheels & no chrome window surround (but all the interior extras, which of course you can't see!). Well worth the 18m wait. I paid the DVLA £399 for GT65 NAG, which definitely adds to the overall look. Hope to see some of you at an event or on the road somewhere, I'm in Lightwater (Surrey) but plan to get out & about once the weather starts to improve a bit. Happy New Year to all.

But surely for the people who put a deposit down a year ago and even longer had to of known that at that time these cars hadn't been put on the production line and it was just a guess on delivery time until cars were actually put on production line. ? The cars were not mass produced until second half of 2015 so would this not really be class as a 6 month wait ?

I have ordered mine in December 2015 but think that the 12 month wait will be dramatically reduced now that things are finally moving.

Your missing a huge point, a lot of us ordered in January and we see people ordering in May, June getting cars ie there has been no system of intelligent organisation evident. It's like all orders are in a hat and pulled out at random.
For me it's worse as the help others seem to get is not evident, I just have a "it's on order'" nothing else so the extra mile valued customer bit is selective and make it worse.

No its purely Ford HQ UK and USA as my dealership have had cars ordered much later than mine and are missing cars ordered before mine. This is Ford not putting a order manageable system in place and once realised it was an issue then failing to author a working solution. When the top guy has to come onto a forum to tell people where cars are .... and fair enough but he cant tell me where mine is and he is top Ford UK guy! wonder if they use SAP or six sigma lol

Well got the call from my dealer today its here! Strange as in December had the were not sure when conversation. Built in sept Shadow GT man with the pack. Ordered Feb15th 2015. Ironic thing is have bought ST 16 ANG for it so cant go on the road till March 1st. Sales guy did say the way they have been coming through has been very random. He still has no firm date for one of his UCL winners

It carries on. Mine finally arrived, almost a year after ordering, at my dealer on Thursday.

Unfortunately I could not pick it up this current weekend as working but I have a whole day off on Monday.

Excellent they said Monday it will be.

Had a text earlier today saying 1615 Monday. End of the fekin day, so much for my day off on empty roads. It'll be dark and very busy by the time I drive away.

Just called them and they are adamant that they are trying their hardest for Monday evening citing that it's normally 8 working days from delivery to when the car is ready.
