Thanks for sharing the pictures above as that's the colour that we have gone for (getting on a bit)
I am interested in the upgraded exhaust so any feed back would be welcome
I'll do a before and after clip. Defo needs more sound!I am interested in the upgraded exhaust so any feed back would be welcome
The problem with these cars (as with a lot of modern cars), you just don't realise how fast you're going, this really is a licence loser if you're not careful.
6 speed manual box is excellent and fairly consistent power throughout, lovely for overtaking, of which I've done a lot today.
As others have said, lots of attention as well.
I think there must be a Yank motors wave club, as I got waved by someone driving a huge LHD SUV thingy yesterday.

200hp twenty five years ago was thought powerful.
I remembering talking to a chap who had a 2.8i Capri got pulled over by the old bill not for speeding but by being interested.
I have a lifted Ram and that turns heads

I'm getting slightly tempted to join the gang. Saw my first RHD car 2 months ago at the Goodwood SS & since then i've been thinking hard about them & it's only really been since mid January that i thought, i really should have one. I ordered the brochure & read the reviews & configured specs & my maths are telling me to do it!
But, i need to think about not just finance but also whether to hold off ordering till i know the 2017 colours can be ordered in RHD, because the thought of Grabber Blue (which replaces my first choice of Deep Impact Blue) is giving me goosebumps & an urge to finally put my name down & play the waiting game without even driving one yet...

Ive spent the last two weekends looking at cars to replace the rusting SAAB with. We tried everything from used full fat range rovers to new Merc CLS 350d and used Jag XKR's.
Today I went to Evans Halshaw in Manchester and test drove a mustang finally, and the indecision has been well and truly lifted. Theres space in the back for kids seats, its reasonably priced, the build quality was on a par with euro Fords, and the sound was glorious.
The handing in the wet wasn't anywhere near as bad as i expected. Save from a bit of drive line shunt. These things are epic!
Anyways I've placed my order for a november delivery 5.0 GT in Ruby red with black wheels and all the options ticked. Now its onto the infernal net to get a free flowing exhaust, the ford racing springs, and the super charger kit shipped over

Good choice! That's exactly what mine is - just need to get it delivered from Baltimore now, it's been a long 12 months...I popped in to my "local" dealer in Eastleigh yesterday. They have a race red manual fastback with the premium pack demo, a yellow convertible (2.3, and sold) and there was an Orange car out back (customer).
I'm going back on the 20th to test drive (first Saturday I can take my wife along). I was sold on the Blue, which is now off the order books - they advised I get my order slot and pick the colour later. Has anyone else done this? I'm happy with Race Red (black wheels and interior) if I no other choice. I'm trying to avoid grey/black in this country. Ruby looked awful on a Ford Galaxy but lovely out in Florida (again, weather methinks) but some of the new colours sound nice, but I've no pictures... <sigh>. They also said they had no idea new colours were coming, which doesn't fill me with confidence...
Anyway, looking to order and get on the wagon asap - loved it based on what I saw and heard (with some mods perhaps) and I don't expect I'll hate it to drive (full disclosure, I have a Monaro in the garage and my wife's S5 is the older v8 so we're expecting to like this too).

Thats what the salesman recommended we did as we were stuck between Yellow and Red, still am! although heavily leaning towards keeping the order in yellow.Iron Duke said:
I ordered my Mussie just after Xmas last year (Black with Custom Pack V8), currently it is on board The Glorious Leader at Bremerhaven, has anybody else got a car on this vessel? If so has your dealer given you a ETA yet for arrival at the dealership?
Mine's on there too but the ETA I was given was early March at the dealers. Gassing Station | Mustangs | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
