So who does tuning bits?

Have Mountune/Roush announced anything for the UK yet?

A supercharger, suspensions mods and brakes would be on my list....

I think its taking longer now as more cars coming through each time. Mine landed Zeebrugge I think 14th March, I just checked again and it says delivered from Zeebrugge 24th March. I've now switched to chasing my dealer not Ford as it will down to them now I think. It looks like it takes a few weeks to underseal then ship to Southampton.

Karen and Stacey on mustang@ford.com still had more info than my dealer even after it had arrived at Southampton. The delivered from date was optimistic in my case. They were able to confirm when it was on a transporter and when it arrived at the dealer. This gave great satisfaction in me telling him it had arrived.

There'll be one more stage after "discharged" - "delivered from" being its arrival date in Southampton:

DELIVERED FROM - 16-03-2016 15:52:00
DISCHARGED - 06-03-2016 09:58:00

It arrived from Southampton to the dealer on the 22nd March, and we then picked it up on the 24th.

I emailed mustang@ford today ref. my VIN, and got an answer about as useful/helpful as a chocolate fire guard frown

I did however after some phoning manage to make contact with someone at Ford here in NL.

They said they could access only a partial VIN and not the full. MOTHER OF GOD WHY!

hehe

So they are 'trying' to track the full VIN for me. Expected ETA in Zeebrugge is 12/13 May, so im guessing it might be on a boat already.
Really don't understand why the UK dealers are making it so difficult for you to get info. The Vin is created on the build date, having a partial vin is total BS. How can it be built with a partial vin number?

Ive no idea why they need to make things so bloody difficult. It doesnt reflect well at all. Ive been asking the salesman for the VIN for nearly a month, and I manage to get hold of it in 20mins and 2 phone calls.
You've seen the issues we've all had so far and you're STILL surprised at this? rofl

There are some good ones, Trust Ford in Dagenham, the person i was dealing with before I decided to go LHD, was so friendly, gave me his personal mobile number, was also a Genuine Mustang fan, we chatted for ages about cars, football and Star Wars. And now that I have gone LHD, Mark wants to see the car when I get her. So they are not all bad

Well after Ford confirmed its in the UK my dealer got in touch - he's hopefully the car will be with them next Thursday or Friday! Coming up to 16 months wait, feels nice to be so close and I'm really looking forward to that first push of the start button.

No, they're not. They are, however, few and far between.
