Really don't understand why the UK dealers are making it so difficult for you to get info. The Vin is created on the build date, having a partial vin is total BS. How can it be built with a partial vin number?

To work out the VIN on any Ford get the last 11 (which is listed on Vista etc) and the work backwards, it works like this:

I'll use VIN GAKCFM53719 (a Fiesta) to explain. All Ford VINs start WF0 (zero) then the fourth character in (C in this case) then XX then the rest so this Fiesta's VIN is WF0CXXGAKCFM53719.

Well worth the wait

Drove home 100 miles really carefully, low speed, low throttle, 1st bit of running in, so did an indicated 39 mpg.
Don't suppose I'll ever achieve that again but it shows what is possible.

Ecoboost? You will see 39 again, off turbo it's really economical. I managed 36 on a 350 mile round trip, had over 400 mile on the trip before I filled up & that was before engine hit 3000 mile.

Thinking this is the same as the UK?

Yes all orders from now are MY17 and include Sync 3, as well as the 3 new colours

That was the case for mine, the "delivered from" date matched Southampton arrival It took 8 days from that point to have the car on my driveway - I'm a bit closer to Southampton than you which probably helps a bit here though!

And she's home. 16 months almost to the day but well worth the wait. The sound in the lower gears is incredible. Very big car, only just fits in the garage and I have a huge garage!
