My car was transported to Mountune from the Ford dealer and I have just collected it from Mountune who fitted the Roush parts. Yesterday was the first time I have driven my car.

I can't recommend Mountune highly enough as they were fantastic to deal with and very professional, unlike Ford who have put me off ever buying another one.

That's lovely.

Aftermarket wheels. Quad tip exhaust - did it arrive like that?!
And side-vents, bootlid spoiler, clear side repeater lenses....what else have you done eh? Nice car. Are the vents real? They look like properly part of the car, not to my taste personally but they dont look "stuck on"

Well spotted Andy! The side vents are non functional unfortunately and just for looks. I'm waiting for Roush to certify their Stage 1 supercharger on the Uk Coyote engine.

The Roush Suspension works really well at pace, very pleased with it and running 275 tyres on the front, same as the Roush RS3.

I've managed to pick up a cancelled order in DIB. The dealer tells me it's at the docks in Baltimore and to expect delivery at the end of June. Part of me thinks that might be a little optimistic on their part.

How long are people finding delivery takes from that stage in proceedings?

The ro-ro vessel Faust left Baltimore yesterday, perhaps your car is on that. Seems to take about 6 weeks to 2 months after the cars leave the US.

If you've got the VIN, it's easy to track it's whereabouts...

Cool, thanks. I've got the VIN and put it into www.cotus.ford.com and it just tells me it can't find it. Is there a more reliable site to track it?

Nice wheels, are they the polished or quicksilver finish?

Placed the order for my GT in black/saddle brown interior with upgraded sat nav/stereo/climate control seats plus parking sensors on the 5th May. Told the sales guy I was in no rush as I love my M3 at the moment but still waiting build date. i was told to expect 9 to 12 months but would have thought a date would have come through. Is this normal for Ford? How long was it before you guys got your e.t.a's?

I ordered my GT on the 2nd May and was told 9-10months. A colleague ordered his at the end of January and it's on the boat over just now, tracking end of June or beginning July. I've heard that Scotland has a separate (presumably smaller) allocation to England, and the Scottish waiting list is 2-3 months shorter. Not sure how true that is. Mine's from Edinburgh, and my colleague is ordering through Perth.

Just over 9 months to get my VIN and build date. Never any info from dealer. Got everything from Karen & Stacey at Ford UK.

Had mine on order 8 weeks now I would be glad of a build date let alone a delivery date in only 8 weeks. wink

It's frustrating cause they must know as soon as the order is entered into the computer a rough idea of build dates etc. I think they are just holding onto the info to keep up the hype
