Our Mini Clubman took longer to arrive than that, and it only had to come from Oxford.
Was following mine on the cotus.ford.com website and you can follow it all the way. It looses the plot a bit at the delivery stage as it thinks you are in the U.S, but add six weeks to what it says and bingo. I was prepared to wait for the end of September beginning of October as advised by the dealer when I ordered it. We arrived in Cornwall yesterday with the dogs on the back seats for the 4.5hr trip. I used 3 blankets nicked off BA flights to cover the seats and used the hooks on the back of the headrests to secure the third blanket to form a barrier and protect the back of the seats without blocking the rear view mirror. Worked a treat but they're only pugs!!
They've just ridden back from Padstow/Rock to Port Isaac in the passenger footwell soaking and covered in sand so the poor car is a bloody mess! I'm missing the RS4 avant today. Tomorrow if the sun comes out I'm sure I'll be glad to have the mustang again.

Test drive went fine i loved it, somebody on here said it was huge and i laughed because a Merc 450 is a 13ft tall 9ft 6 wide 44 ton truck so i thought how big can it be. Truth is when your sat behind that bonnet it looks about the size of a mini on it's own. Handled well very impressed with the firm suspension i was probably expecting a wallowy firerbird style american barge. Quieter than i was expecting (maybe i was expecting the pops and bangs i used to get in the Cerbera) still sounded good though i would love to hear what the rousche exhausts sound like.Anyhow we talked the numbers and i agreed to go back mid november to order a "standard" red 5.0 GT so it would arrive for march 18 (18 plate) all going well or so i thought.
Got a phonecall 2 days later "we can't give you an idea about your trade in price until you order in november" OK "we can't give you an estimate on your 2018 trade in price until jan 2018 OK "we can't give you a final trade in price until the car arrives". Never had this before last 4 cars have been Audi pcp's and they have been brilliant.
Love the car just not sure they want my custom, should i stick with it or find another dealer?

The base price is £38095, then we valued my Audi on thier Ford value your car app, £15980 and on a pcp over 3 years this came to £42700 which i thought was fine. Now they are backtracking on the value of my car.Merc 450 said:

I misunderstood. But, if you are ordering in November you will be ordering the new MY18 S550. For which Ford UK have no price list, options, delivery times etc. Production for the one they quoted you has finished. Don't believe anything they tell you. No i'm ordering the current shape i've told him to ring me if Ford stop taking orders for this shape, new one isn't in europe in left hand drive until march 18, expected end of 2018 over here.
Ah, fair enough. You might be in a good position at that time then as they will have to supply you from stock and it will be an obsolete model. On the other hand they might have run out of the spec you want

When did they cease production? I've got one on order that was due to be built on the 7th Aug..t.Some are like this through hoplessness, others are more conniving.
