50th Anniversary was April last year.
Of the 1965 car though. It was on sale in 1964 but was the 1965 year model.

From Evans Halshaw Facebook:

For one day only the brand new ‪#‎Ford‬ ‪#‎Mustang‬ will be on display at Ford ‪#‎Bedford‬ tomorrow for the Man from the Factory event.

Address:
Evans Halshaw Ford Bedford
200 Ampthill Road
Bedford MK42 9BW

It'll probably be the US Spec LHD red one that's been doing the rounds - if anyone's nearby though would be worth a look.

I've seen one in the US, but I'm looking forward to seeing one here, parked right next to a Fiesta / Mondeo / 1-series for comparison.

So has anyone been and seen it and will it be doing the rounds of other Ford Dealers? Mine is Guildford about 20 miles away.

I've been to Bill Shepherd's a few times to try to glimpse the US version in their showroom. They have been closed both times but I get the feeling that it's a case of booking an appointment.

Can't see them being happy for me to have a good look and feel when I have already ordered a UK one.

I'm heading to the USA next week... I have found a dealer and will take a closer look. Let me know if anyone has any specific requests - I'll try sitting in the back!

Croyde, where did you see the video of the euro-spec car?

For those of us not digging the clear lights, I just found this....

Here's the video of the supposed EU Mustang. It's a GT with the bigger Brembo brakes yet is wearing Ecoboost wheels. No dials in the centre of the dash. The guy did speak to someone on the stand that did say that the show cars are just cobbled together from what ever bits are to hand biggrin

And it's a left hooker, so maybe EU in terms of France and other European LHD markets?

Who knows, we'll have to wait & see!

I have one for a week out in the US. It's a decent motor to be fair, a bit basic but then mines a low spec rental.

Perfect out here, but don't know what it will be like back in the UK. Suspension will need some work for sure, it's stiff and crashy over bumps but then wants to fall over round a bend at speed? It's odd, but I'm sure they'll sort it out.

Yes, it does. I doubt it holds much weight, however, as it doesn't specify for whom it applies!

(I'm planning on Jan, hoping for Dec and would be very chuffed with Nov!)

Was that the one with a pic of a CO Mustang, welcoming you to the family?

Ok, NOW I'm definitely concerned since you're using the same dealer as me AND placed your deposit after me. yikes
