Can't see a Magnetic one unfortunately.

However if anyone can't wait for their car to arrive, there's a 2015 3.7 V6 in Orange for sale (seems a reasonable price - £29k) on eBay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-15-FORD-MUSTANG-3-7...
Desperate to sell I guess as who wants a LHD in the UK if you can have RHD
Not me, but there are people that love LHD (croyde, where are you??)

Here I am biggrin

If Bill Shepherd wasn't expecting a ten grand premium for their GTs, I and I am sure others would be happy to have LHD.

I wonder if there will be any 'surplus' ones sent over for general sale along with the first lot of pre-ordered cars ? There's going to be some extra ones destined as dealer demo cars presumably, otherwise who knows ?

They havent taken any orders officially so I doubt they have the residuals worked out.
Its possible that we are over excited on this as any car forum will be but if it doesnt sell like crazy then it will have low rate deals and discounts aplenty.
One part of me says you dont need a convertible until May so see what happens, the other part of me says get it early and bask in the feeling of being one of the first in Tescos car park with one.
I have 2 months to decide.

Bit of a gamble isn't it, as I have thought the same but then as it seems such a bargain price, what if they put it up for anyone that hasn't placed a deposit?

Pah, speak for yourself smile

I'm more worried about the Mrs getting it sideways in Tesco carpark with over 400 BHP and RWD. Should be interesting in snow.

Happy end of Quarter one folks!

Really hoping we start to hear some more solid, non-rumour news soon. Things seem to be starting to happen for the Euro folks and we'll follow that i guess.

It's a long wait though... and there's a used C63AMG for the same money winking at me at the local Merc dealer. No need at all.

It'll be worth the wait I'm sure, and this time next Easter we'll be on our second set of rear tyres smile

I've had an S550 coupe for the last week or so in Florida albeit a V6 and I love it. I shall try and blag a test drive in.a V8 PP before I come home but there's a load of 2015s on the roads in Naples. Did 600 odd miles in it yesterday and my two grown up daughters are royally sick of being stuck in the back.

Thing is it drives better than my e90 D3, rides well and cruises almost silently at 80 odd. The only let down is the V6/auto combo which we don't get thankfully and a few cheap and poorly finished plastics. That said it's as well screwed together as any German car I've driven in the last 10 years. The Sync works well and the standard heated and cooled seats are comfy and supportive.

The thought of coming home to drive a diesel again makes me die a little bit inside.

The price has gone up folks.

£5 for the Ecoboost and a tenner for the V8.

Looks like the VED went up the same amounts as of April 1st.

US service men and us owners of almost all pervious Mustangs, mind you we haven't really had a choice. It would probably make sense to buy a RHD version of the new model, saying that LHD has never bothered me.
Sat in a new vert the other day and must say its rather tempting, very nice car.

Ordered mine today! V8 fastback with auto gear box, rear sensors and magnetic in colour.

Been told to not expect it untill Q1 next year which suits me as my current PCP doesnt end untill March 2016.

Cannot wait!

Hi,

Looking for a daily driver so have found myself looking more closely at the 2.3L. What sort of annual mileage are people expecting to rack up? Has anyone else gone for the 4 cyl?

Went to Bill Shepard to see the Orange GT on Tuesday, looks absolutely fantastic in person...anyone who has ordered should be very happy!

Cheers,

That one will need the light conversion doing again as it's only had a temporary job done on it.

Do the US models have side repeaters in the door mirrors?

They don't have them which is why that one has had temporary ones stuck to the wing.

If you want a good forum for mustangs with like minded people as piston head folks try S197.co.uk. I understand it is going to change to cater for speed freaks who want to use their cars rather than polish. Modurstang etc sponsor it so it is a good source of technical info, latest updates from Ford and i understand some insurance benefits will be coming too. If you want howdy, cowboy boots and a polishing mop go over to the moaners site.

Just to correct some information - I won a slot in the Uefa draw and have had a few conversations with Ford or the last year while they have gone radio silent - pretty poor show TBH. So just confirmed a v8 magnetic gray with the option pack for delivery in late Q3 / early q4 this year

It does come with LSD and the lower gearing with the performance pack mods

Recaros are not coming to the uk yet.

Main changes are
Comp pack as standard fit
dumbo mirrors
no sequential indicators
reversing light above rear splitter
disabled led lights in head lights
no rear spoiler
daytime lights in the spots
Uefa cup slot winners apparently get a badge whoopee frickin dee

If you want upgrades - well worth checking out the ford racing products website - lots listed already

am going to fit straight away - lowering springs and the boss exhaust system. If they have upgrade anti roll bars they are going in as well

Still seems like a fair buy at under £25k for a new car even if you have to play around with the lighting to get it sorted out to a better standard. Wonder what is being done with the front and rear lighting on these LHD cars to pass SVA ?
