So we get Sync2 not 3 and the convertible can only have a black stripe - that will look great on blue.
One plus is the wheels are not black on the custom pack.

Not seen the black colour contrast roof option before - pretty sure it's not on the U.S. options either? Does specify the pony projection door mirrors - I had wondered if we wouldn't see this on the UK / European mirrors. GT badge on bootlid but does not specify which style.

Black stripes on blue is fine.

I wonder why the Ford site has not been updated. Pretty lazy of them. Starting to get the feeling that Ford UK don't seem to think that the Mustang coming to the UK is not as important, exciting or interesting as we think it is.

Also, the picture of the stripes looks more like they are painted then vinyl?? I wonder if they are?

Annoyed there are no Recaros - that said, quite a few reviewers seem to prefer the standard seats.

Agree. It still looks like it did when it was a "Future car", i was kind-of expecting an update with the 1st May. "Images may not be representative of the final specification" is getting tedious...

Sounds like this may be an interesting week ahead though...

It specifies paint for the roof but not for the stripes, so i guess they're applied post paint. I might go for a black roof and get the stripes applied after delivery. A reputable vehicle wrapping establishment that deal in quality wrapping products (like 3M) can apply any design of stripes you want for considerably less that £500 (about £150 - £200 i've been quoted locally) .... and you can always change them if you don't like the colour

My Mrs has vetoed a stripe and as its going to be her daily drive I can't really argue.

I quite like it, although i think it looks much better on a fastback rather than a ragtop.

I'm sure it would be way cheaper to to order it without stripes and purchase after market stripes from American muscle and have them fitted.

Apart from RHD I cant see how the UK ones will be different, so definitely no middle dashboard gauges then and it looks like it will be white rear lights too, along with the faux gas caps.

They look good it's just a shame they don't look like the US cars.

Ford really are trying to soil this whole experience for me so far.

Complete lack of info, complete lack of spec (vents, Recaros, gauges etc), and then lumbering us with huge Dumbo wing mirrors, clear lights & hideous rear badge.

At this moment in time, I can well see myself pulling the plug by the time delivery comes around since I'll have no trouble shifting it.

I'm beginning to think Mrs Unpc was right and black is the right colour for me. I ordered the Magnetic but as others have said, really only looks its best in the right light. As this is England and the right light only happens once in a blue moon, I think I'll revise my order.

I also ordered the Custom pack and I'm not sure I want the chrome window surrounds and silver wheels that come with it. I think I'll dump that and just get the upgraded audio. I've already experienced the cooled seats and they make you feel like you've peed yourself.

I still think it's down to Ford mis-reading their potential market. They seem to be trying to fit the car into a semi-sophisticated coupe/convertible market rather than making their own niche. There's absolutely nothing else like it so I'm sure they've missed a trick here. I think I read on the Mustang6g Australian forum that Ford NZ have been quite interactive via social media in gauging what people want. Shame it wasn't the same here - those cockpit pictures posted last week showing the additional gauges looked SO cool. Having said that the cars on those shots from Munich can't be MY16 (as the RHD cars will possibly be) and RHD production doesn't start until Sept, so i'll carry on hoping that things will all turn out ok. Probably just deluding myself though!
