Are you sure it was a RHD version ? I'd be surprised if there are any on the roads. There are only a few that are trickling through the dealers now for show - without batteries either, as per my last post.
I would have said - although, I was not there, so you could be right - this one was heading back up the USAF bases in E Anglia. That's not to say that there are Brits who don't have imports. But around the Mildenhall / Lakenheath area, there would probably be a concentration of them in relative terms.
I cant say if it was a RHD. Im guessing it wasnt as they arent over here yet. But the fact it was heading in that direction you could well be right. It was just nice to see something a little different on the roads. It did stick out, thats for sure. Relax lads. Just got a message from the sales manager telling me not to worry as the original price is what I pay. The amount locked in at the time of the deposit.
Hmmm... given that my deposit was against a 'Waiting list form and not an official order, I'm not convinced. Have called the dealer who will get their Mustang specialist (who in fairness was very heklpful when I spoke to him last Saturday) to confirm. Will let you know...
Croyde - is yours a confirmed order on Vista?

Thanks Stig also just found it on http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2...
In one of the pictures looks like a Euro speck car in the parking lot in the background a red one.

Hi guys, so there is a GT (LHD) at Allan Ford Warwick (not far off the M40). It is there today (27th May) and tomorrow (28th May) as far as I know.
I took a few (rather crap) photos this morning:
First impression is that the car is not as big as feared. The new lines have helped make the car look more coherent and tidier. It has a similar footprint to something like a Jag XF I would say.
The dealer was clueless (as we all know) but in their defence they are probably commissioned on selling cars, most of which will not be mustangs I suppose so the incentive is elsewhere. They wouldn't open the doors, boot or bonnet so no more info there.
I didn't particularly like the yellow, but I have ordered Guard (grey/green). The yellow was a bit after market looking to my eye, no real depth to the colour, I think it would benefit from stripes/black roof maybe? That's just my opinion.
Overall, headed there uncertain, headed back excited to be getting one whenever it is ready, happy to enjoy my TVR for one more summer anyway!
Where is the Ariel on this one?I took a few (rather crap) photos this morning:

I thought I was going for DIB, then I had an idea....
Now I find myself wanting a white one!
Nice! So those of us who haven't been asked to confirm spec turn out to be the lucky ones. Now I find myself wanting a white one!
I've ordered the book, so I can pretend I'm one of the chosen; but I can still change my spec win:win
I went along today and had a good look at the Mustang they have this weekend at John Grose Ipswich. As has been said, it's a big car, I've had an xfr, and I would say it's easily as big. Having said that, I didnt think there was one bad angle on it, it's a seriously handsome car in the flesh, a proper blokes car, the proportions are just right.
The interior was nice, not quite the same quality as my current car, not to say it was bad or anything, just eg the leather wasn't as nice, seats not trimmed quite as good, but then the Mustang costs an awful lot less.
The car had the standard seats I think, felt comfortable, quite squishy.
The boot is a real useful size, the back seats lay flat, so it's real useful. The black wheels looked fantastic, and filled the arches. The rear 'hips' on the car were quite pronounced and looked brilliant.
I've never seen a yellow car look as good as this, I think with stripes it would look awesome. All in all, I con honestly say it's one of the best looking cars I've seen in a long time
I think I'll be ringing the excellent salesman Richard Carter at john grose tomorrow to place in order, although I think it's going to be a year before I get it, more time to save up 😊
