Yes, for the first year, which is, I believe, included in the purchase price. I hope your dealer explained that.
He didn't so thanks for the info. Thought it steep and was worried that it can only go up so that's a relief.Saw one at Le Mans and have to say they look even better in the flesh.

All new cars are subject to a double VED charge for the first year. It's another how dare you buy something nice tax
In the Mustang's case it is indeed included in the on the road price so if you bought at £32995 for the V8 the only other initial cost is insurance.
Been quoted between £330-£390 fully comp protected no claims thats top 6 companies, so not to bad to insure. In the Mustang's case it is indeed included in the on the road price so if you bought at £32995 for the V8 the only other initial cost is insurance.

Was that the Meercats? because I tried the other day and although it didn't specifically mention the S550 it did have 2015 Mustang V8 RHD. My quotes were around the £500 mark which I was pleasantly surprised at, especially as I went for business use, parked on road, London and working in 'entertainment'.A year ago I tried to insure a 2010 S197 and no one would quote me apart from Adrian F and they wanted £1400 It cost me £550 to insure my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis and that was only TPFT.
Are imports normally so expensive to insure?

I was in Toronto for work last week. Didn't get chance to see a Ford dealer but saw 4 Mustangs - 3 on the taxi ride back to airport. The first was a blue 'vert, not bad, colour looked a bit dull. Second was yellow - really didn't like it, the yellow seems to make it look less aggressive. Then saw another blue, but finally...a black coupe.
The black was stunning, easily the most aggressive looking, amazing.
Really can't wait now!

Do I need a reason to post a pic of my car...?
1,400 miles in and not a bad word to say about the experience.
Avg 16mpg, grip galore and pulls like a train.
