These guys will be worth keeping an eye on. Some proper know how. They have ordered a RHD car to fit some demo mods e.g. Whipple supercharger kit along with Magnaflow exhaust and KW suspension.

Hi there

Is it bad I've already ordered and taken delivery of some of my modifications? biggrin

My plans for my Magnetic V8 GT PP Manual are:

ENGINE / EXHAUST

Steeda cold air intake with restrictor (no tune), will maybe add tune later
Corsa Sport 3" catback system with 4.5" polished tips
Oil pump upgrade (preparation for supercharger)
Whipple 2.9l supercharger kit, after 12 months ownership

SUSPENSION
Ford Racing Mustang GT Handling Kit (Dampers, Springs, Sway Bars etc)
BMR Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit (CB005)
BMR Toe Rods, Double adjustable rod ends
BMR Vertical links lower control arms, Delrin/Spherical
?Steeda IRS Subframe bushing support system (Does CB005 perform this task)
?Steeda Adjustable Differential bushing support system (Does CB005 perform this task)
?Steeda IRS Subframe alignment kit (Does CB005 perform this task)
?Steeda Mustang Rear IRS Subframe Support braces (Does CB005 perform this task)
Steeda Extreme G-Trac K-Member brace

DRIVELINE
Steeda Shifter base bushing bracket kit
Steeda MT-82 Transmission Mount bushing insert
 • Maybe MGW short shifter kit

INTERIOR
Shelby GT350 Steering Wheel
50th Anniversary white Shift knob
Ford Racing Black Shift knob
Diode Dynamics Interior LED Conversion kit
Steeda Mustang Hood strut kit

EXTERIOR
25mm front wheel spacers
23mm rear wheel spacers
Ford Mustang Decal Kit - Speed Stripe Black
 • Maybe Ford California Special upper and lower grills
Ford Racing Mustang Tail Lamp applique with US GT badge and not faux filler cap
Tint (medium) for rear tail lights
 • Maybe Trufiber or CJPP carbon front splitter, sideskirts and rear diffuser
 • Maybe GT350 style front bumper with carbon front splitter and mesh and GT350R style carbon rear wing
After 12 months ownership 19x10or20x10 front silver wheels and 19x11or20x11 silver rear wheels shod in Michelin MPSS/Cup 2's
 • Maybe add black racing stripes at a later date!

Spent a lot of time researching and still not decided on certain things yet but cannot wait to take delivery, will drive it for a week or two completely standard, then start putting my parts on one by one. Exhaust, Wheel spacers, suspension bits etc. smile

???Question mark in front of some the Steeda items under Suspension is because I am unsure if BMR Lockout Cradle CB005 performs this function as BMR state their one part performs the same function as several parts from their competition, aka Steeda, so would be good to know for sure. I don't want to be buying Steeda parts if CB005 is performing that function......

Does the UK Mustang have daylight running lights, and do the three stripes in the headlamp units light up in anyway ?

Yes. No.

Our DRL's are the foglights at the very bottom.

The US DRL's are the 3 gills in the headlight unit and in no way can be activated on Euro cars without some major expense and new components from an aftermarket supplier.

I thought as much, I would have liked those 3 gills to have lit up.

Just ordered the Ford Racing by Borla Sports Cat Back exhaust from CJ Pony parts. Pony exchange rate (pardon the pun), so £1478 inc delivery and tax. Still worth it I'd say.

Just need to source the Pony decklid now.

Should've got it from Benny at Levittown Ford.

I paid under £1300 total for mine.

You're probably right, to be honest I'd forgotten about him when I rushed to order this morning before the Mrs changed her mind!

Just fitted the decklid, as you will see from Gibbo's thread it looks much better (in my opinion) that the GT badge

And the sports exhaust (Ford Racing by Borla) which sounds sooooo much better than the stock one. It has a nice growl to it when accelerating, but is actually quite quiet when cruising at motorway speeds.

The Ford garage fitted both for £90 all in which I didn't think was too bad at all. The boys in the workshop where very happy with the exhaust note smile

My car is due in the next 1-2 weeks, it landed in Southampton last Monday.

I spoke to the sales guy about mods and maintaining the warranty but he wasn't very clear, he just said they'd prefer not to void warranties but didn't clarify what I could and couldn't do.

I want to change the exhaust and induction and a few other little bits.
