Didn't take long - EDP stage 1 - adds around 220hp - stock internals, trans and rear end. Forged oil pump drive is always a good idea when hopping-up a Coyote.

Interesting.....

Does the oil pump drive break often then?

Very useful manufacturer-produced vid, comparing the sounds of all the exhaust options Borla offer for the 2015 Mustang.

For my GT Premium I'm planning a new exhaust system, spoiler, splitter, JLT intake, Oil catch can, Remap and a few other little bits and bobs! biggrin

I want a hood scoop but don't know where to get a good one, I hate the roush one, need something bigger more like the super snake any ideas?

No - in a stock and low psi forced induction configurations it is perfectly OK. When you apply more aggressive induction systems (like the one illustrated), the weak link in an otherwise bomb-proof package is the oil pump drive.

Some good options there - but I suspect all will void UK warranty as will any other mod (speaking as someone who changed pretty much everything on my S197!).

I'm sure they'll try and wriggle out of any issues but I'm under the impression that unless a fault is CAUSED by a specific modification, the warranty is still perfectly intact.

I can't see a judge agreeing with Ford that fitting different wing mirrors caused a paint defect on the bootlid, for example, can you? wink

I stand to be corrected on that though.

Indeed, but changing the exhaust and then finding the engine goes pop - even for a completely unrelated reason - would be a far harder warranty claim.

I'd venture the chances would be between slim and none.... and slim just left town wink

Anyone that's ordered a RR car that doesn't buy one of these: your car is wasted on you! hehe

True, which is why mine would have to be towed to my friendly garage before being towed back to the dealer. wink

Also, since we're obviously the first buyers to receive the car over here, they're not going to want us making any noise about Ford being tricky with warranty claims on their halo car that they're going to be making a big deal of, are they?

Might be worth taking a look here for anyone worrying: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f...

Seems quite a list of things going wrong with this car, and those panel alignments are appalling!

'2015 MUSTANG FORD RACING LOGO RECARO SEAT (SET)' <---- Set

'Sold as a pair'

'Sold in Units of (1)'

So that's £2000 for one Unit, consisting of a pair of seats. It is confusingly worded though. smile

I would love to believe your interpretation of it, I really would, but given that Recaros are a circa $1600 upgrade over and above the standard seats, which are included in the price of the car, I can well see these being $3K+ (£2K) each.

Well shut my mouth! http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-recaro-seats-20... Can I live with only 2-way adjustment instead of 4 for the driver's seat though? Hmmm.... wink

Yay! I 'won'! wink

Considering they're Recaros you'll be held that tightly into the seat you'll only need to adjust 2 other aspects - angle and depth! smile

I did notice that but the pic is definitely the same and there's only $300 difference, so......? scratchchin

ETA: found them on a couple of other sites that describe them as leather as well, for a similar price, so it looks to be around £2K for leather Recaros with the logo. Shipping is probably around the same again! weeping

I have just wiled away a few hours watching the youtube installation videos by CJ Pony Parts. I actually found it very therapeutic biggrin

I finally know what Axle Back and Cat Back means plus oh what fun I would have if I had not only a garage but a lift as well.

Just a question, what is the legality of the Roush and MagnaFlow exhausts, that sound great, in the UK? Do you have to refit the old system to pass the MOT, obviously difficult if you have had to cut it.

I also watched the one hour clip of the Super Charger install. Felt ok until they had to cut chunks out of the Coyote engine casing, as specified by Roush, to comply with the fitting of extra hardware. yikes
