I take it those are your clips^? You had to fold yourself into the Griff didn't you? wink
Yep.. My clipssmile...... As for the Griffs (I've had 3 of em) and getting in and out, managed it for 15 years, but enough is enough.
Time for something a bit more civilised and easier to live with, hence also going auto for the first time everyes

Yeah.... I had a Vantage with fuse 22 removed and I also gutted the back boxhehe but it wasn't that loud really..

The TVR's on the other hand, although great for blasting around turned a bit wearing on long journeys..

My plan for the Mustang, is some Euro trips and use as much as possible, so having had loud in the past, this time I'd rather something a little more subtlesmile
Nice clips!

You were swaying me towards the Touring but I've just watched the Brola film again and I think the Touring sounds too much like the stock exhaust. I was going to go for the S-Type (sorry called it Sport in my earlier posts), but I think I may have upsold myself to the ATAK, although I'm not sure her indoors will sign that off for the school run smile

What performance gains are there from a cat back exhaust?

Also how well does a chambered exhaust work with an X-Pipe?

What's better an x pipe or h pipe for performance?

Performance gains from a cat-back? Negligible. Can't help with the other questions.

Plenty of discussion threads on X v H pipes... Check out the numerous Mustang forums.

Different noise, different power gains at different points : H at low revs X at high.
H more burble and deeper rev noise
X more whiny, screams at high revs

I have a 2015 GT and opted for the H Pipe.. Deeper noise for sure, and a raspy note when off the gas.
For true gains in HP, better breathing through X or H pipe, coupled with a CAI (cold air intake) will balance the gains nicely.
If, however, you go down the route of adding a Bama Tune or similar... You will invalidate your warranty.
There are plenty of CAI's which do not require a tune though. (My next purchase)

Quite a few people talk of better fuel economy when replacing the resonator with X or H pipes. I am finding the exact opposite. Due to the fact I am now revving the car harder and longer with the windows down listening to the NOISE...!

Balls to the power gain, thumbs up to the fun factor....

How much was all that after postage, import duty etc?

Is it just the floor mats or did you get the boot one as well?

Are they not going to be shaped and have fixings for the driver's side only?

hehe... That is just the trunk mat..for cars with shaker..didn't want to risk the floor mats with it being RHD

It was $79 bucks as we american car owners saybiggrin..... Delivery was free as it was included in the new zorst, which was $250 bucks (shipping)... Zorst is coming tomorrowyes

It was all rolled up, but the instructions say lay it out flat in a warm room, and it will regain its shape... It feels pretty good for the pricesmile

I have the same trunk liner / mat.. It does flatten after installation.. Takes a day or two..
By the time yours arrives it will be in good shape.

I also bought the 50th anniversary deep pile floor mats, which have the button poppers for the drivers side only.. But as mine is LHD they are a perfect fit.. Who knows what will be available for the RHD version..!

If you are fitting it yourself what is the best, and safest, way to raise the car so that you can work underneath?
