Looking for any info on my dad's old mustang he used to own. I tracked down a member on the vx220 owners forum but he has been off line for 7 years or so hopefully he will see the licence plate and click on this thread if anyone has any information it would be much lt appreciated

Not been on the road for over 20 years according to the DVLA

There is a member of the Mustang forum who has lots of info on the 64's, I'll send him a PM and report back here.

I COLLECT AS MUCH INFO ON EARLY CARS AS I CAN AS I OWN 1 OF THE THREE HAND BULT PRE-PREDUCTION MUSTANGS SENT TO ENGLAND FOR STUDY MY CAR HAS THE EARLYEST RECORED PRODUCTION DATE IN THE WORLD REG TO FORD MOTOR CO UK ON 8TH APRIL 1964.

hi paul i'll see what i can do but don't hold out too much hope as all we know is thats its red coupe and reg no untaxed for 20years it might not even be a 64 as it was registered in 66 back in them days cars where registered on the day not year related so it could be 64/65/66 the club membership secretary might have some info but if they have it i doubt they will tell as i've never been able to get any details from them [data protection i was told] but i will check and if i have info.
