Hi Mike

Just looking through your website, could you supply and fit one of these on a UK spec RHD 5.0 2015 Mustang?

What impact do you think it would have on the Ford warranty (in your experience, I won't hold you to it!)

Firstly apologies for jumping in ahead of Mike.

We're planning on offering a variety of upgrades for 2015 Mustang V8 to go alongside what we do with the Ford GT. We'll certainly be offering the Magnaflow range of exhausts - they have a very similar system to the one you've picked out at a similar price (part number 19100) We'll have one on our demo car just as soon as we get the car..... We will also look at other suppliers if that's what customers want.

Fitting should only be a couple of hours work at most.

As far as warranty goes it will depend on the Ford dealer that you use for warranty work - I would expect most to be fair and unless the warranty claim was directly attributable to the exhaust it shouldn't affect it. So if you have a problem with the door mirror it can't be down to a modified exhaust - if you have paint damage to the bumper because the exhaust now sits too close, then they obviously won't cover that. I used to manage the Mountune road car business so have lots of experience dealing with the warranty people at Ford. (but don't quote me....)

Thanks for the response, I'd be interested to hear what options (and pricing) you've got once you've firmed them up.

My plan was to drive from the Ford dealer directly to get the new exhaust put on

The Mrs will be using it as a school run car and I want to see if she can make any small children cry smile

Re warranty, I thought that was the case, I guess my worry is if something goes wrong with the engine and they try to place the blame with the exhaust.

My impression with the Ford Racing exhaust was that no cutting or alterations needed to be made with the existing pipes and exhaust system, it's just a simple case of unbolting one and bolting the new one in. So when you go to return it for warranty work or end of lease, etc, you just need to swap them back over with the old one?
