I have to have me one of these

V8 manual of course - to replace the much loved griff

The grey/green colour with tan interior, navigation , sensors and premium seats

10k down with 12000 per year is just under 350 per month over 2 years

I reckon most of that 10k will come back to me

Selling my muscle truck as well which I only bought as the kids were not very comfy in the boot of a tvr

It's called Options Cashplan and yes it is available on Mustang.

If anyone wants quotes, let me know OTR, deposit, term and miles per annum and I'll send it over
It's OK saying it's available on Mustang, if anyone wants quotes etc. - but can you actually place a Mustang order today using Options Cashplan? When I spoke to my nearest Ford Store recently about placing a Mustang order it all seemed to be a rather strange affair! They didn't want to discuss financing options, part exchanges or anything like that. It was basically a case of you give us a £1000 deposit now and then it's up to you to worry about sorting everything else out later! I would have liked to have agreed financing and a provisional price for my current car as a part exchange but was flatly told no chance due to the prolonged length of time between ordering and delivery on a Mustang!

Yes you can order and get a quote today. When we started taking Mustang orders Ford hadn't announced what the finance offering was, they have now.

Like your dealer we won't give PX prices until your new car is nearly here. It's not fair on the dealer or the customer to value a part exchange a year before it comes in.

Thanks for the info, I will call in at my local dealers at the week-end and have another chat as it sounds as if things have now moved on with the financing options.

Obviously not giving a part exchange valuation in advance is fully understandable, I'm just a bit OCD about having things set out to some degree and knowing pretty much what I'm doing! My part exchange has a current trade in value of close to £12k, it would just be nice to know that subject to mileage and condition that it would be worth say somewhere in the region of £10k by the time a Mustang arrived, or even if they would guarantee Glass's Guide or CAP trade price on the day, but they won't. I don't think it's the dealers intention but without any kind of reassurances they could turn round and offer say £2k under trade and they've got me over a barrel!

Why would you need to part exchange to the supplying dealer? There are any number of trade buyers who will instantly buy your car at trade value the day before you take delivery.

Yes maybe that's the way to go. Wouldn't want to trouble the Ford dealers with something silly like part exchanging my current car when I'm only spending £35k plus with them.
