I've just had the 2.3 Fastback as a hire car for two days inLA. It is fantastic

I've driven plenty of Mustangs and Cameros as hire cars and they've been fun but not something I'd drive in the UK. The new one handles nicely, the interior is well built and of good quality and the 15,000 mile example I had felt really tight and only let down by the engine note and auto gearbox.

I went to go to a mall but ended up on the Angeles crest highway through Angeles National Forest - very twisty and undulating roads and the Mustang was superb!
