Love what you've done to the GC there... If my annual mileage dropped I'd be very tempted by one of those!

Cheers.....it's a good truck, runs LPG and is mostly used for dragging stuff around....which it does pretty well reallysmile

And sometimes I even clean it

I've always been a little put off by the looks of that era of GC but the black grille and wheels suit it really well. If I got one I would have to shamelessly copy!

It looks like it's got a bit of a lift on it... what kit have you used?

I've sprayed all the chrome with plastidip, to black it out, replaced all the badges with black ones... The wheels were in a mess so had them refurbed and powder coated anthracite...

It's got wheel spacers, and a bilstein lift which was basically 4 new shocks, and then spacers under the springs...

Fitted new discs and pads all around, and that's about it..smile total cost including the Jeep, all the bits n bobs, and sorting a gas issue out was just under £7k...
I bought it with 86k on the clock and it's now on 95k...... It really is just a work horse though, when it's not towing a horse trailer it's towing a big field mower, or chain harrowshehe.... It stinks of horses and dogs, and doesn't get much love, although I do look after the engine and transmission with regular oil changes etc....

When it ain't towing, it's actually quite quick for what it is......no one knows it's a Hemi, so it can catch a few out from the lightshehe

For what they cost, they're pretty good in my book........next door neighbor has a Range Rover, same year, same mileage, and he paid double what I paid, and yes, it's nice but I don't think it's worth the extra £££

I had this one before.....4.7 V8 again on LPG..... Sold it to my mate with 140k on the clock, it's now his dog and shooting trucksmile

Corvettes are the main pose / race vehicles. Ford Lightning F150, that's just for fun, mainly the look on others faces when they can't out run a truck shoot

Looks like I'll be getting my first Mustang as my daily driver in 2016, the 5 Litre obviously driving

Look forward to meeting up with some of you Stang Boys (and girls) biggrin

I saw an entire car transporter of New Mustangs on the Mway yesterday.

I'm still not sold on the front end, but the rear is superb.

The black one looked the coolest...

I'll second that!! Few years ago when I had mine the driver of a (then) current plate TT V6 got absolutely caned coming down a slip-road, not a happy bunny!! lmao

Currently as well as the '05 Mustand there's a 250 SLK and a 5 year old Astra
