S197 Mustang - light conversion to UK and certification

Dear Pistonhead members

I have recently moved from Switzerland to UK and brought my beloved 2005 Mustang GT with me. I started the process of importation however to register her with DVLA, I need to convert my lights to fit UK standards.

I am living in London and if any of you can recommend a garage able to carry out the conversion and certify that she is fit for UK standards, I will very highly appreciate.

In the mean time, I went to all american meeting in Ace Cafe London which takes place every last Saturday from 4 pm onwards and followed up with Chelsea Cruise meeting in Battersea Park. Great day/night to spend good time with car enthusiast. Anyone planning to pop by next time, see you there.

Hi Cem

Join the MOCGB forum http://www.mocgb.net/ and ask the same question. You need someone with experience of the Mustang, or you will end up with SJB problems. The person who is usually recommended for the conversion lives further North but it is worth travelling to get the work done correctly.
