When getting the custom pack I think this adds the chrome window surrounds, can it be selected to have the custom pack without the chrome as it doesn't really go with some of the colours.

No.

You could remove/cover the chrome aftermarket, but not from the factory.

Its the main reason I didnt take the CP, along with the interior colour.
Of that is really off-putting, I'm after tripple yellow but prefer not having the chrome, I fancy everything else in the car though

I went with triple yellow and just added all the options separately that way I got the black window surrounds along with the black wheels

Any chance of photos, exactly what I'm after, did you go for stripes?

The Customer Pack just bundles the three separate options together (Shaker Pro/sat nav, climate-controlled seats & reverse parking sensors), you can add these separately (and also save 200 quid). I did this as I don't like the chrome option for either the window trim or the wheels. I don't think there's much you can do if you want the silver wheels on their own though (sure you could get some second-hand though from someone wanting to swap).

We wrapped the bright side trim (with 3M stuff as per Focus RS500) on this triple yellow car - worked out very well.

Drool, did you do the rear light tints too?

I was quoted 9 Months delivery so was thinking of holding off for an April 17 delivery for the new tax

Quoted delivery times can vary, a LOT!
The CP also adds 'nicer' door caps and I think contrasting stitching in the leather. Ive also read the quality of the leather on the CP is supposed to be superior to the non-CP cars.... however it limits your interior colour choice to black, the chrome doesnt suit all colours, and I know it might not be widely agreed upon, but I think the silver CP wheels are butt-ugly.
Ah, having just checked the ford.nl configurator, I think you get different options to the ones we have in the UK - there's no "premium leather" option here unfortunately... I don't believe the doors are any different for ours either, but not 100% sure.

Agree about the wheels wink

Yes - they have the mid level tinted vinyl on them - we keep stock of them here.

Looks fantastic, very similar to the look I'm after. Can you give details on what modifications you have done?

Much prefer the black wheels, going to go with not ordering custom pack and getting the upgrades separately.

It's quite a long list:

  • Roush active quad tip exhaust (controlled from centre console 4 position switch)
  • Roush rear valance to suit exhaust
  • Carbon fibre hood, GT350 style rear spoiler, side skirts, rear decklid panel and front splitter.
  • Whipple supercharger (644bhp and 673Nm)
  • KW Variant 1 coil-over suspension
  • Stop tech two piece brake rotors
  • Vossen 20" VFS1 wheels painted gloss black
  • Windows tinted, rear lamps tinted, side marker lights tinted, black badges and emblems, bright trim wrapped
  • Mirror caps painted gloss black
The car will be on display at the London Motor Show in a couple of weeks.

I'm up in Scotland unfortunately, it looks stunning though, very nice work.

Wow! That looks amazing! How much would you charge to tint the back of my S550? Can you pm me?

What was the price of the Roush Active system, if you dont mind me asking?

I really, really want it - but it seems to cost an absurd amount of money frown
The quad tip exhaust is £1035, the active system (controller, valves, loom, module wifi unit etc) is £1700. The rear valance to fit the quad tips is £260. All inc VAT but not including fitting. PM me if you need more info.

If it helps you can always do that later - it's designed as a modular kit.

Absolutely stunning. Is this with a custom pack and removing the chrome, changing the wheels? Any more photos too, I will be going yellow.

Had my test drive today and I really, really want the Mustang. Doing my due diligence and having a look at Audi/BMW tomorrow but can't see anything changing my mind although dealer was saying today that it is at least 12 months.

I didn't spec the custom pack just the 3 other options so it's as standard.
I'll post up some more pics.
