Last tuesday I paid my deposit of £10k the first time I had visited the dealer! I signed up as the car was physically in the Speke compound.
It went from Speke to Warrington on thursday (!) and before the valet they noticed a wheel had been damaged (not the tyre the wheel) so on friday they put in a warranty claim for a wheel and think there are some in the country. I was astonished that they dont take one from another car (they have lots of Mustangs at Warrington) but its not Ford policy.
So I have no delivery date although the car is at Warrington we are now waiting on a claim and then the parts may not be available.
90% of me says to cancel the order there are loads of Mustangs about just not in DIB.

What would you do ? - remember this is a January 2015 order

Hang in there! It will be worth it, after all this time. It's your car, built for you, and it will be brilliant. Mine has a strange shadow in the paint which only I can spot; I don't care, I've put it down as a birthmark, because the car is awesome. DIB vert? Beautiful and a rare future classic. Don't let Ford beat you; the car wants to be yours! When you drop the top and plant your foot you'll know it was right.

Parts for the Mustang in the UK have been absolutely awful to get hold of. Someone crashed into the back of me in December and i was without the car for 7 weeks whilst they fannied around ordering a new bumper and a few other bits...

Its a bloody brilliant car and you wont be dissapointed but the customer services and general ordering process from Ford is woeful.

They won't release it probably because I put the fear of God into them regarding the prep.
Also it needs tracking and I won't take it without this report also it's pissing down here today so no point.

Beautiful and a rare future classic.

What have you been smoking? It's looks are still debatable, and as for rare do you know how many mustangs are produced each year lol

Aside from that I like the new mustang and have seen loads on the road here in South west London. If sales go well and they decide to introduce a rhd 350 over the coming years I'd be tempted.

But back to op, I'd tell then to give you your money back and go find the mustang you want from the classified section.

Don't smoke. It's a convertible in DIB.

Talking about rarity. I have had mine since Jan and in 4000 miles of mainly commuting from Surrey to various parts of London I have only seen one other.

A grey 'vert which I only see around here in Surrey.

I was in LA for a few weeks last month and spent a lot of time commuting and saw very few Mustangs and most of them were 2.3s and V6s.

BTW my dash buzzes and rattles when I go for the loud pedal but I just think it's all part of the experience. I like the transmission whine as well.

I'm Mad Max in my V8 Interceptor. I might even tear the passenger seat out and put in a blanket for my cat.
