I am thinking of selling my Mustang. I want to back to a LOtus. What I am interested to know is if these premium prices for new/nearly new you see advertised are actually achieved?
Anyone bought at a premium?

FYI. It's a Competition Orange/V8/Auto/Coupe/Seat upgrade and rear muffler delete. 2K miles.

I have seen a number of GT cars that have been advertised for months at £40-42k ish etc and they are still on sale ,assuming that they are not just using the same photo to lure you in with the promise of finding a similar one .I paid a broker advertising on the first few pages of Pistonheads classifieds to jump the queue ,and within 24 hrs I had driven up north to a Ford main dealer and done the deal on a brand new unregistered 14 mile GT all for list price plus a reasonable commission of £580 to the broker.I then promptly cancelled my original order. When I secured my car I had two others I could have had at list price also.

So If they are available new at list then why pay over the odds for a used registered car?.Personally I would modify slightly my spec/ requirements to get an unused brand spanking new car at list, just my opinion of course.

What will help is that CO has been discontinued and quite a few still wanted one.

Not looking for a premium. I would like to get somewhere near list. WBAC is £33K!

I agree about all the £40K ads. I think a lot of these places will come unstuck eventually..

Is it an import? Not sure what a 'seat upgrade' is, as all UK cars have the same seats (different colours, same seat)?

UK supplied. Seat upgrade is heat/cool of seats.
