Any opinions on this? A 2014 car currently worth £50k ish, what will it be in two years? I want one but don't want to get stung (pun intended).

Here's a thought................

The GBP weakened against the USD following the Brexit vote, making imports from the USA more expensive for us. It's possible this may happen again when Article 50 is implemented.

If the GBP weakens further then the effect on importing a car from the US (whether as a grey import or via an authorised UK dealer) will make them more expensive.

It is possible therefore that those cars already in the UK may seem like good value and may not depreciate as much as they would have before Brexit.

I can afford it right now, just don't want to lose too much. Luckily the noble has gained about £10k since I bought it so I have some headroom.

I've had mine for 20 months and it hasn't lost much value at all. It was a year old when I bought it. They are a bargain if you ask me.

I agree Nogbad I hear what your saying about 'Value' .... someone wrote on a Forum that you feel like your in something of three times the value ... by the look and touch of the trim materials and the controls, instrumentation, the Drive, Ride and handling I feel like he does in owning mine ... not to mention the Performance Styling and road presence......
yours is the Z51 ?

Macky I underestimated the Guy who bought my LeMans Blue Z06 when I was Selling that one he had a Corvette to Sell ...so I' was assuming with him.... if your expressing an interest I thought you'll need to advertise that one .....as it happens he had the "Ware with all" and purchased mine outright ...and went on to Sell his Vette later on lol a man of Substance

Regretting that I didn't have the "balls" in Feb 2015 to buy the 2014 UK spec "triple black" ex Bauer Millett car (only 726 miles) for sale on Autotrader (dealer in Colchester) for £55,200. Not much depreciation on that in the last 2 years?

If that's the UK spec car at Castle Motors, as some of you might have seen, it was on Ebay in September as a private sale for £50,300 with "Best Offer." Seller was including the 20" aftermarket wheels (still on the car) a BB Bullet exhaust fitted, and the original wheels/exhaust. Looks like Castle bought it and are sticking another couple of grand on it? The black one I mentioned above ended up at Castle also for £56,500 and appeared to sell in a day or so.
