So I've got a 67 mustang I imported as a bit of a project.
I'm having a hard time figuring out what bottom pulley i need.
The pulley on the crank was a single v belt with a secondary cast centre.
However the alignment with the water pump and alt is about an inch too far forward (closer to the radiator)

The other odd thing is as far as I know the car is a 289, however it's running a 4 bolt crank ?
It could be that it was swapped for a 302 at some point as it does have some other parts on that hint at drag racing history.
Did they ever do a 289 with a 4 bolt bottom pulley?
And is there an easy way to identify a 302 as I'm aware that ford stamped engines with the vin back the , rather than individual engine numbers?

Thanks

Hi mate, sorry not going to be too much help to you but I did find this when I was shopping for my Mustang. Could help you at least work out which engine you have.
