Thanks for the replies.
I don’t think any messages came up. I was more concerned with finding a safe place to pull over.
When I did stop, A message came up to tell me to put it in neutral before starting the car.
I suppose something could have popped up on the dash before it died, but I was not paying much attention. Too busy enjoying the ride!
I will keep the keys in the cup holder from now on. If it happens again, then there’s a problem.
I took mine out today to test for you and no matter what key fob button I pressed, held down would it do anything other than click to door locks. There were no messages, so for me I would get it back pronto.I don’t think any messages came up. I was more concerned with finding a safe place to pull over.

You have convinced me that it’s probably a fault with the car. So I have booked it into the Ford dealer where I bought it from.
Hopefully, the fault will be stored on the cars computer. If not, it is going to be very difficult to find!
Will keep you posted and thanks again!
My son in law sent me this yesterday. worth a watch if you haven't seen it already!

It’s booked in for Thursday.Any news on your cutting out ??
I used to live near Stevenage, so bought it from the Ford dealer there. It’s about 100 miles from where I live now but, I didn’t want to take it elsewhere just in case it can’t be sorted!
We still have family there, so am tying it up with a visit to them.
The Ford dealer can keep it as long as necessary. It’s only a fun car after all

It’s not going to stop me driving it, though!
We have a few days away down in Cornwall in two weeks time. Probably going in the Mustang
I have a few questions. any help appreciated!
Does anyone know the differences between the U.K. spec Bullitt and the U.K. spec Mach 1?
When speccing the Mach 1, is the only option the wheels? There doesn’t seem to be any other options on the configurator.
Has anyone had a recent steer on how long the wait to get hold of a new Mach 1 would be if you order now?
In order to improve the handling and traction to be more in line with the US spec, what are the upgrades you’d go for and are they available via Ford performance (and this retain warranty)?

Apparently, the only 2022 cars that will come to the U.K. are ones to fulfil existing, undelivered orders.
You can still order a GT I think, and a GT would be good enough. Some interesting (better) colours available
I’ve got a Mach1, and had a Bullitt… you’d have trouble spotting the difference in the drive, apart from the gear change.

Thanks for the reply. The car journalist reviews in the U.K. of the Bullitt suggested it handles better and is louder than the GT, so that’s surprising to hear. The Bullitt comes with the performance pack 1 right? I do also like the look of the Bullitt; looks more menacing imho. You can still order a GT I think, and a GT would be good enough. Apparently, the Mach1 is supposed to be a little quieter than the Bullitt!?
No options in the U.K. apart from paint, wheels, Recaro’s and auto.
I loved my Bullitt, loved the stealthy look, but it was dirty within an hour of washing it.
You’ll have to pay a premium for either car secondhand, unless you can find one for sale privately?

Yeah, I’m thinking a 2020 Bullitt might be the way to go. Originally I was looking at M4 but after being in my mate’s mustang in the US with an x pipe, I am suddenly heavily leaning towards the mustang! I just think every drive would be an event, even if it is just a slow cruise, whereas the M4 would need to be driven fast to feel the specialness. No options in the U.K. apart from paint, wheels, Recaro’s and auto.

Is there a reason a Mach 1 is quieter than a Bullitt? I have a Bullitt now and soon to be acquiring a Mach 1.

I’m between a fighter Jet Grey (3 meet my spec) and an Eruption Green car. I’m viewing Green car early next week before making final choice . It looks a bit olive green for me in non sun / dull light . What colour are you getting?
