Where can I hire a classic Mustang?

as the topic title says, can anyone recommend a company which hires a classic Mustang for a day, or weekend? It is a birthday present for my father in law. Not sure if the "vintage" is important, but he is 64 next month if that helps.

Oxford area if possible.

Works for me when I choose "prices" from the red bar on the left.

Mustang is £220 per day, £660 per weekend or £1100 per week all with a £750 escess.

Advanced drivers with an IAM pass can save 10%

Unlimited UK mileage too.

Well, I hired it. We had it for the day on Monday. Old style Mustang owners will know that the car takes a bit of getting used to, with its unservo'ed drum brakes and no power steering.
The engine was something else though, I never got tired of blipping the throttle to listen to the noise from the exhaust.
Mid range power was great as well, between 60-90mph the car takes off rapidly.
LHD was no problem for me, but the father in law had a few hairy moments as it is quite wide.
We did about 200 miles in it and loved it.

yes I will post them up.

If you do hire it - never get out with the engine running! The stick is a bit loose and the car has a tendency to vibrate out of 'Park' and into 'Reverse'. We had a hairy moment when swapping drivers.

We got loads of comments and stares - 'nice car' etc. I felt a bit of a fraud.

The car has to go back with a full tank, so I stopped at a nearby garage for a final top up. The fuel only came to £3 and the cashier said, 'that won't last long'.

Sounds great, glad you had fun! Disc brakes and power assistance for the brakes and steering were optional, and probably not than many cars are missing all of those things, especially nowadays because they may have been added during restoration. It's not actually very wide, it just seems like it because there isn't any depth to the doors like a modern car so it's not that much wider outside than it is inside, if you see what I mean. It's smaller in length and width than a Mondeo actually.
