This is my '68 Gold Nugget special, one of 481 cars actually built from an original suggested total of 525.
It now has a 331 Stroker motor with Edelbrock Performer top end and AOD gearbox
This is my '65 Fastback, 289 Auto, has had disc brakes fitted and newer suspension along with Rack & Pinion steering, probably going in for paint this year.

Have you traded the Roush in against it?

Some more pics of my Cali Special
I really am falling head over heals in HATE with you!!! So envious!..
and yes, those changes make the car look much more butch, menacing and pretty much superb now!
I will have to drive take a trip in my future purchase to visit it, when we return UK-side.
Great job!

I'm very happy with the way it looks. It needs to sound a little 'gruffer' though. It's a great cruiser. Quiet, refined and comfortable. Nevertheless, it has a reasonable bark on the standard exhaust if you raise the revs and give it a bit of gas. Certainly gets down the road quite well too (Brewer phrase). I want a little more exhaust noise though, so I might look for some axle-backs. Then with my standard exhausts available, I might make them straight through to see how that sounds...
