Just dropped by cause I realized I rarely see a T400 / 440 pass by (on internet that is). How many are sold for road use yet? Any chance of a soundfile anywhere.

Car looks stunning. My favourite over the Tusc.

Al, If that's how the car sounds when it's cold, not run in and without being 'finished'...how is it going to sound after a few miles........
pretty awesome I should think.

I'm not surprised that so many people mistook it for a Tuscan. It wasn't until I saw the two side by side that I really saw and appreciated the difference.

The updated TVR Engineering video shows a group of TVRs running head on to the camera, side by side down a runway.

The difference between the Tuscan and Typhon is amazing. I really never appreciated just how different they are.

Perhaps Luca has the link on his amazing sleepy-fish site.......

Good luck with the run in period....

Saw the beast at GW.

Fell in love at once only it should have been bright green...to match my face of course.

Very dramic in the flesh-love the exhausts- wonderfully techo-thriller. Loved the interior-cool choice of colours on the leather inserts-made the interior look sophisticated.

Keep pinching myself.... over 600 bhp-looks to die for,and really designed, engineered and crafted in the UK.

Rule Bloody Britania.

Thanks Luca you're a star......

It's 23MBs though.....so a broadband jobby and the bit I'm talking about is right at the end when all the cars are in a line.
Excellent stuff and well worth the price of the video.

Enjoy

The cars still with TVR, has been SVA's and is now road legal. John R and Gavin B have been fettling still this week (they say it has great traction suprisingly by the way). Following a bit more fettling next week it will have a final paint and interior inspection and tidy up before handover. So .. familiar phrase .. sometime next week ..

Believe it or not but NO we're still waiting to pick it up. The guys at TVR have been driving it around making 'sure' that everything works as it should and then they were going to take it over to Bruntingthorpe, drive it at serious speeds and then take it back for a bit of a repaint and final fettle. It's frustrating but better they get it right and properly sorted.

Apparently the powerband is like a 4.5 Cerbera, very driveable for a 600bhp car and the traction seems surprisingly good.

The good new for those of you waiting for your own Typhons is that the guys in the workshop are absolutley meticulous about their work and are seeking perfection with this car, so it should be worth the wait when we get to drive it.

Hi Steve, I was at the factory Tuesday and saw it going out for a few test drives, sounds superb! Can't believe I didn't get a picture of it!
Good luck when you eventually get it!

Think TVR would have to work a bit on the aerodynamics on that one Podie!!!
