Great news that there are a few of these beasts around. Definitely a
collector's item. However, the photos highlight the one problem I
have with this car - the side profile. To me it looks like it has
sagged in the middle as the lines don't seem to flow in a logical manner.
All other angles look great. To be fair, I've not seen one in the flesh
so it may look sorted to the naked eye.

They really are beauties.. what are TVR doing then? Why are they selling one or two to select people?

Not so sure if its the middle sagging or the front being too high, but thats photographs for you. I have seen it a couple of times in the flesh and tbh it is .

Any chance of a photo of the interior to get a look at the rear seat arrangement?

That car is stunning.

congratulations! the car looks absolutely stunning inside and out!
it looks to be quite a big car in the pictures much larger than a Tuscan is it particularly large/wide in the flesh?
like the interior too the design and colours look fantastic!

If people with deposits don't like it they can get their deposits back.

Saw Jon's car at the excellent Paint Shield place in Grantham yesterday, while my Sag was also being lovingly coated with 3M's best clingfilm.

I hope you don't mind me revealing this Jon, but as well as a Typhon you said you also had a Sagaris - blimey - my 2nd car is only a Smart, so you are a true TVR enthusiast whereas I am merely an arriviste.

Thanks for the good wishes.

GingerNinja - internal pictures as requested.

forthright mc - yes, it really is that much bigger. You can see on one of the shots below (4th one) where the passenger seat is as far back as it will go and that gives a loads of leg room in the front (much more than say a Sagaris). There is still reasonable room behind in the 'plus 2' seat (if your not too tall that is...)

big.jezz - you are correct, this car does not have a supercharger and yet it has been type registered as a Typhon. I was advised not to have the supercharger fitted due to the heat it generated.

There are 1 or 2 around but as far as I know this is the only Typhon on the road today (other than the original T440). Not sure how you get hold of one but if you contact the factory, then Jason Oxley is the probably the best person to call.

The 1,000 mile service will be done in early April and so hopefully after that there would be the opportunity to join in some of this year's events.

Incredibly. I enquired about the Typhon, and London TVR told me it would never make production. Shows how much they know.

1 or 2 in existence hardly counts as 'in production' though, does it?

Hi Jon,

Tried to contact you by email but the message keeps getting bounced back. If you could give me a call on 020 7907 6317 or drop a line to petert@evo.co.uk I'd be very grateful.

I'm jealous Richard! Out of interest how does the T440 drive/performance compare to your Sagaris?
