Ah right I wasn't aware that they'd been seen together so I must be wrong. I wonder then if both these cars ended up as De Walt promo vehicles or as suspected the Fleetwood one was cut up?

We know that one was cut up but I've assumed it was the very original one with the different rear end as it was the prototype and would have had to have been destroyed?

I've a photo somewhere of them together. I think it's been posted in this forum as well. I'll try and find it.

2 'Europeans' were at Chatsworth and they claimed that there was a car just like the charcoal Typhons in Austria. There is a chance that they were refering to 0b as NS has been residing in Austria but at the time I actually thought they were confused and were thinking of the green Sagaris II.

De Walt had 2 promo cars. The red 0a which is currently sitting in RG and also that wierd shell with stick on lights, black plastic glass and solid axels that was used on the HMS Invinvible photoshoot. Again, if you look closely at that photo it leaps out at you that that wasn't a real car but just a shell mocked up.

There is also the remains of a shell that Plasticman was fitting over a Cerbera chassis?

Chris R should know what happened to the Fleetwood Bronze car?

eek I didn't think she would ever sell it??

£150k is alot of money, but it is a rare car indeed. I'd love it, but not got the funds right now or for the forseeable. frown

I asked Chris iirc he couldn't remember.

The Gereen Sag II is in Saudi or Dubai ( I can't remember where it went) after NS gave it to someone in an attempt to impress them.

I don't think NS has a T car.

Looks like it was NEC 2002 that they were both together.

Yep it was laid up for several years after it was crashed quite heavily by a photographer who was uninsured I believe. It was sitting in the Ginetta factory for some time with grass hanging out of the backend and all the panels sitting inside it.
I took a picture but I can't find it at the moment.

Is it really worth £150k even if it hadn't had a shunt ??

Seems a huge amount of money for a brand that has, shall we say, special appeal ?? By that I mean limited/educated in that there is a huge percentage of PetrolHeads/Collectors that would never buy a TVR, and only a small percentage of us who love them and appreciate them..

Even the wonderful Sagaris struggles to sell over 40K, certainly in the current climate.

Agree, ridiculous price that will only put people off even contemplating buying it, Imo 90 ish is about right for what is a very specialist/limited market, good luck to them is they can find someone with more money than sense.

Could be yours at £90K; that's still twice the price of a Sag for a different shaped body. After a crash.

I think if the Scottish one went for circa £99K this surely cant be worth £150K and considering the info V8Griff has on it!!!!!

Actually it was because someone drove into the back of it when she was driving in town, so I'd imagine it's not a "hefty" shunt.

Maybe it was tailended, but it definitely had a lot of damage and grass hanging off the the rear end that resulted in the car being off the road for several years with a lot of damage, as I said a simple incident doesn't end up with a half dismantled car sitting around for several years because it's too expensive to repair. I understand it happened in Le-Mans.

I do know however that there was some issue with who was going to pay for the repairs at LNT because when Lawrence pointed the car out to me on a visit a year or so ago, he said 'that's not going anywhere soon' when I pressed for details of why he just avoided the question and changed the subject to his racecars parked behind.
