tbf you're about the same pace with the wheel as you are with the controller, or at least getting there.

Easily! You probaly have the easiest option being able to use manual and clutch but just pressing 2 buttons to go up and 2 to do down.

same with me...I've always been slow, bought the wheel to give me an excuse and it is a lot more fun with the wheel (also the Mrs can play it with wheel too, so she earns CR for me)

AJ: go on my sf and pick up my evo x drift tune. It's free. Take it on hotlap at the ring and drift away. If you naff a corner up reverse time and try again. You will easily get the drift points

So are we having a big race on the 13th on forza 3 before the launch of forza 4? Although I suspect lots of people will get their copy of forza 4 early.

How are the paint jobs working this time. Can you import pictures because it looks like that! Having said that, there we some on FM3 I thought that about.

You cant take designs over as such. Best way is save each side of your design as a vinyl. ie: Right, Rear, Wing, Top, Left and Front. Then you can take them over and rework in FM4

Nope, shapes as normal, otherwise where would be the challenge.

aye...she's been know to play online multi-player for me too if I'm in a good lobby and have to pop out she takes over so I don't have to leave the group I'm in

Sorry i missunderstood you. Images cannot be imported into Forza. They have to be built up with the layers. The Senna film NSX that I did in FM3 will be coming over to FM4 with me

I just don't understand how you did that! So you've made that on, what is essentially, MS Paint?

these paint for the cars look so good, and the time it takes to do these only using squares and circles is amazing.

Well not quite. You have to make it using shapes. There are several vinyl sets and you have to build the image up.

These are a few from Forza 2 but they are more or less the same.







You will build the main features up using the flat primitive vinyls and then build the shading up using the gradients. There are a few tricks you can use. You are also limited to 1000 layers on each side (500 on front and rear). The right and left sides are 1000 layers on that car.
