Homer J said: Some good racing last night, for the few races I was there for.
Couldn't belive some of those insurance quotes you lads were mentioning. I'm clearly the old fart of the Speed Matters club.
I insure a 996 Turbo (with mods declared), new C-CLass Merc 220 Sport and a 1.5 diesel Clio for around £1400 / year all in. Yup Insurance is a killer , I see you own 2 Porches, your going to regret leaving early when I tell you this, but we had some proper in depth talk about Porshes and their engines, manufacturing, all the technical bits and about the cars themselves, New and Old from a highly experienced Porshe technician.

My insurance has begun to drop quite nicely in all honesty. £2.5k for my first year, £800 second and £410 this year. Next year it should be £210ish. All on a 954cc 106 TPFT. Hopefully I'll be in a position to get some more serious metal end of this year/next summer. On another note, I see in the club info pane that the club is in need of a co-leader? Only Rob and Jay at the moment apparently. I can provide a copy of my CV and references if required

My profiles wrong..............How do I move a car into previously owned. Luke's a Porsche Techy, nice one. Where do you work Luke, OPC or indi? Back on topic, I'll be looking forward to the new Porsche pack for Forza

Only downside is that living in the middle of nowhere you have to drive miles for anything. About 6 months of school and just pottering around meant I did 14k miles or something stupid. That's not cheap! And at least 1 night out in every 3 it's my turn to be taxi. It has it's negatives haha! Would it hurt if I said I can get fully comp on a 205 GTI 1.9 for £900?
