Suggestions on a decent but not bank-busting wheel? Dualshock is a bh even after playign with the sensetivity settings I couldn't do a lap of the second rank TG test (elise)! Much likely due being crap but still...

Playing on a sofa in the lounge so no desk to screw it onto...
I have a spare G25 going cheap if interested - mate uses the ironing board to mount his.

Spa tomorrow!!

Also.... Don't suppose anyone knows how much, if at all, quicker the x2011 will be compared to the 2010?

Found this... "There is no change to the engine type, power or downforce, but the reduced frontal surface area and cd result in less drag, and a higher top speed than the X2010."

Yeah found that too, its a little annoying with the current one as i usually max the aero for most tracks so it really slows up around 200. Will be interesting to see if it's noticeably quicker with the new aero.

Well my GT5 had just frozen, I had no option but to turn it off.

Yep, it's gone and corrupted my save, thankfully I have a back up from a couple of weeks ago. The down side is I've lost 14 million credits. mad

it looks pretty pants to me, i've heard mixed opinions, some say it's really good, others say it's more forza 3 and a bit, not 4.

it looks pretty "meh" to be honest, graphics don't look as good as GT5 and the physics seem too arcade-like for my liking. i will say the AI cars look way, way better though....but then if i want good racing i'll usually go online. but it would be nice to have a decent challenge without having to do that.

from what i gather GT5 has better physics and graphics, forza has better sounds and newer cars.

Ross.

hehe i don't know the tracks on forza, but i know a lot seem to be made up, i personally prefer real tracks....i VERY rarely go on the original tracks on GT5, spend most of my time around the real ones (e.g. nurburgring, la sarthe, monza, suzuka etc)

I've noticed the F40 in Forza4 was just copied from Forza3 which looks inaccurate.
Moving on... DLC soon!

Torque has both and his initial impressions were that forza has some nice touches but one thing I know he pointed out last night was the ring is really bad. Felt flat and not at all like the ring.

Each will have good/bad points but for me I won't buy another xbox and it doesnt support g25/27 so I'm happy with dlc and continue to run Sunday championships with gt5.

Once again sounds too arcade like for me. I'll admit the engine noises are superior though. Having said that, the xkr on gt5 is awesome.

I'll stick to gt5 me thinks

Forza always used to have Road America which I am rather partial to, aswell as Sebring. But thats about it, and I would take Spa over both of those.

I hate tsukuba, too slow and twisty and too short for my liking, i love the longer tracks like last sarthe and the ring.

Suzuka's my favourite, closely followed by Capering. The ring is amazing but it's like going for a drive in the country.

I think Brands would be great, can you imagine Paddock Hill? It's near enough blind in real life...

I went a few months ago to check it out when there was no one around. It looks alot steeper than you see in games and on TV.
