Would be better if they focused on the tracks we already have. like adding the different layouts of Tsukuba and others. and removing the stupid invisible walls of the Top Gear Track. even the Top Gear Track has more than one layout in the real world.

On Forza, the TG track is better as there are the invisible walls are further back off the track, unlike GT5 where its right on the edge of the track.

Just ordered the game. What's the quickest/best way to lots of credits?

Once your driver hits level 21 get them to do the Like The Wind Indy Oval race over and over again. Not the most fun way to earn money but probably the quickest. That's what I'm doing because I have to start over again having played the game through on my housemate's PSN account and moving out soon. That said you'll have a lot of fun playing through it yourself for the first time. Use MyGranTurismo.net to keep track of what cars you've got and what you need and check which cars are available as prizes (to save you wasting money on them). ETA: Any PHers playing today? Would be nice to race with some enthusiasts rather than barrier riding SRF reliant numpties.

Credits won't do you a lot of good at the beginning - you need to focus on leveling up as fast as possible to be able to drive the nicer/faster cars. I started out by golding all the licenses and running the special events... only dipping in to A spec when I needed to get a few extra exp points to level up and unlock the next special event. Once you have a decent level then the seasonal A spec races are a good cash source - if you run cars with a PP level well below competition you can get 1 million per race easy enough... makes up for not being able to glitch on Nurb with the X1 like you could when the game 1st came out. The other thing to do is to run B spec when you're doing mundane stuff (like working)... I used a google gadget that enables you to run races from your PC whilst at work.

Cheers chaps. Will crack on with the licence tests first then take it from there. Also; can't wait for Spa!

B-Spec level also counts for buying nice cars and you can set your driver doing the same boring but easy race in an X1

The license tests and special events are worth doing in any case as you'll use them to get used to the physics.

The special events offer decent sized one off rewards which is very useful.

Reading through the thread, if I pick up the DLC I should get a few nice cars to start with, too. Hopefully turns up tomorrow so I can crack on.

Speaking of DLC, they'd better give us some proper cars which have been missing since day 1 rather than another GT-R/FT86 (I would accept a GT300 BRZ though!) Anyone want to see my list of cars they forgot?

Can anyone explain why I can run my modified BMW M5 (approx 700bhp) in the beginners hot hatch tournament (London - Madrid - Cape Ring)? In Madrid I end up lapping the tailenders at the end of the 3rd lap! The Veyron and F1 also work. It seems a tad ludicrous.
