Spa might just drag me back to this.
I made the UK GT Academy Finals in the 2nd competition when all we had was Prologue and wouldn't go a single day without racing online with it. As soon as the full game came along, I loved it and still do - but the online racing scene is something yet to catch my full attention.
iRacing is just too damn good for competition...

>books a week off work< It is (or will be, not sure if it's out yet) in the download pack on the PSN store.

Suggestions on a decent but not bank-busting wheel? Dualshock is a b h even after playign with the sensetivity settings I couldn't do a lap of the second rank TG test (elise)! Much likely due being crap but still... Playing on a sofa in the lounge so no desk to screw it onto...

Stops it swapping ends under braking...

That's a plan - although the braking isn't so bad, it's the inability to turn without doing a pirouette!

just seen a couple of youtube videos of forza 4 around nurburgring GP...quite frankly, it doesn't seem to hold a candle to GT5 except in one thing.....engine/exhaust sounds.
will try forza on a mates xbox i'm sure but i really wasn't fussed with forza 3 - the physics and general game play was so unrealistic. i suspect the 4th one won't be up to GT5 standards.
2 things that i REALLY want improved with GT5 though:
1 - engine noises (forza 4 and even NFS shift are WAY better than GT5) 2 - computer cars are actually hard to beat in similar spec cars.

I use the racing gearbox, supercharger and comfort soft tyres. Unbelievable fun, you really appreciated the physics and game.

To the people that are losing game save data when updating software - is it only gran turismo data you lose, or is it everything?
